You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

But.

Your sizes do not represent the size of the empires. Be that due to score or membership.

The Kzin should be far greater than the ToE. 35M VS 22M

But the rest should be far smaller. You have the HCH and the Diplo's equall to or greater in size than the ToE. The ToE has nearly triple the diplos score and has triple+ that of the HCH and Orcas.

That is not represented in the size here.

 

If you go by membership, you should not see Adepta, Gecko's or Gerontocrats. Even the ToE would be very small in contrast to the 480 odd members of the Kzin and the near 200 of the HCH.

But as you say, this is your thought process, i'm just saying it looks odd is all.

You may have 1/6th of the roster, but don't forget that cats sleep 2/3rds of their lives away, so those 480 some kzin members may be 'hibernating'.  I'd say that active members vs active members, it's far closer than that.

Bah. I'd say in the ToE right now we have no more than 10-15 actice players. I can't see my beleiving that you guys would have anything under 100.

 

Edit - Just looked at the AM and for the last 6 months its 32 for the ToE and 158 for the Kzin. Thats close enough to 5 to 1. Pretty close to what i said.

Also remember that the active listing is characters, not members, so active member numbers for both the Kzinti and ToE would be significantly lower.  People can have three characters, and some of us like me, Neilo, & Motti have multiple accounts.  I think Motti takes the prize with 4 (or 5?) accounts? :grin:

Not a real long story, but not super short either.  My character is supposed to be evil and the Llama part comes from my natural, common and understandable fear of Llamas.  :(O  

 

j/k.  My wife and I have a running joke about Llamas spitting on you and how evil they are in that regard.  Of course, the most evil instrument one can play is Johnny Cash's guitar, hence the avatar.  :grin:

I've heard that llamas can actually be pretty nasty.  My best friend's parents have a couple llamas to guard their sheep, protecting them from coyotes and such.  Never had one of them spit on me though. ;P

Ok what is the S word? I can't think of anything.  Cursing down here is not like it is in the states. Just about anything is fine, cept the C word. Fuck, prick, asshole, bastard....

There just words to most Aussies. Swearing is just slang for us.
