Those ancient Greeks were pretty clever folks. My personal favorite was Archimedes who essentially invented/discovered the foundations of integral calculus in the third century BC. Imagine if such knowledge hadn't remained lost for close to 2000 years before Newton and Leibniz in the 17th century.

It does indeed seem that some spinal growth has occured here.    It's good to think that there has been at least some silver lining to the cloud. But as far as the rap, I think it needs some work.    I certainly admit that I have no real basis for any informed opinion, but I think you could take some lessons from neilo, although I think his best effort is in one of the other rap threads.

Perhaps age and experience count for something after all. Anyway keep working at it, who knows, you could be the next eminem.

I can see the point here and I agree that *most* rap is, but there is both art and artistry involved as long as you're willing to keep an open mind.

Eh... it mostly just rhyming.

What makes rap so popular is the beat, not the words. Especially for dancing, or at least the dancing teens do.

Personally Weird Al would make an amazing rapper, but he makes an even better satire artist.

Though i appreciate the kind words Mumble and no offense Etrius, if Eminem or any other "pro" rapper saw our work i think their first response would be uncontrolled laughter followed by some pity.....




Yea, i don't mind Eminem but that's about it. Mr Palpatine hit the nail on the head, i do think the greatest appeal of rap is the beat...I don't hear a car full of teens go past with glam rock blasting out of the stereo anymore......

Wish there was a revival of that though....
