Galactic Guide Book usage

Id like to make a poll of it, but I dont know how
The question is:

Do you build the Galactic Guide Book wonder in your games?

Please keep it simple- Yes or No.

Yes, although only for the aesthestic of it.

It's the very last wonder I build usually.

I think it'd be a lot more useful if anomalies randomly appeared throughout the game, instead of all just at the beginning and gone fairly quickly.

No. (i dont find any real reason to build it)

No, never.

Now that is an EXCELLENT idea! Seriously, that is brilliant and should be implemented ASAP.

Every time anybody suggests that, it is generally well recieved. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

And no, because it's useless.

No.

If it were available at Sensors II and could be built in about 15 turns on a crappy 3-Factory planet, I would build it; in galaxies >= Large.

I built it once quickly on a huge map with abundant anomalies and then massproduced scouts that could survey and took approx. 40% of the anomalies. Not bad IMO.
But I agree that it's basically useless on the smaller maps or when there aren't that many anomalies.

If they only would respawn...

No! Even the people that said yes, also agree it is useless!

In current form, by the time I get to it, the anomalies are gone (or nearly so).

Never ever builds this useless crap

It needs to be available right away. It would be easy to fix.

No.

The only exception that might arise would be a Gigantic Map with Abundant Anomalies and less than 5 total players.

Ok. Lets make a quick recap...

16 No (including me)
4 YES, though 2 do it just because of aestetics and admit it being useless
1 Hell Yeah, whatever that means..

That makes 87% of people thinking it's useless. I'll make this a petition for Stardock to balance this wonder.

If anyone wants to join in, just post a big NO (or Yes for that matter, in case you find the wonder to be just fine)!

Thanks.

No, i don't build it

No I don't want it changed -- just fine as is. I get 60%+ of the anomalies on a gigantic map with 9 opponents without it.

In GalCiv1 the map was crammed with anomalies and new ones spawned in the middle of the game. I liked it that way. I loved the ones that gave you free ships (I once got a two battleaxes, a battlecruiser, and two defenders right at the beginning of the game from them!)
