if you scored over 15 times, why don't you show off your medals? it's on the "Edit my Characters" option when you press on "Account" in the library, metaverse or legend.. then press on your character, make default.

Hello Galactic Empire! I have to say that it's sad to the the Jedi Republic fall into such stagnation but as time move on, old empires fall and new ones come to pass. Needless to say I ahve found some time to play and have begun submitting games again.   along with that I have decided to join your humbule Empire.

I can't explain what that just happen here... all of my game were "cheated" so I deleted them... I hope the Empire will survive it...hang in there!

I noticed the same for Grand Moff Tarkin, Sith Master and several others. What is going on here????? If they delete mine or mark them as cheated, then I am quitting the metaverse, not going to start all over after spending months playing 47 games.

My, that was a pretty big hit we took there. We still have a pretty good hold on fourth, but it won't hold forever.

I say we are officially off until we make things right, M.B.M, you came in a bad time for the Empire, I'm sorry...

Am I the only one that hates it when these new versions come out? You spend months deveolping a successful strategy you like, earning medals and moving up in the metaverse, then they come out with a new version that messes everything up. The new ones always have lots of bugs, and they totally change the strategy, so it is like having to learn a new game all over again since all your old strategies are no longer effective. Also when a new version comes out they devalue your old metaverse scores so you feel you have wasted your time building it up. I have 47 games and wanted to continue using that character and get the medal for playing 50 games and keep improving, now since all those games scores will be reduced, and they are making the game harder, there is no point in keeping that character, because it will have so many low scores after the changes that you are better off starting with a new character and starting over so you are not penalized for your old games.

The change they have made where they average the skill of all the AIs togeather to determine the difficulty level, means you are better off not playing with more then one opponent at a time. Why suffer battling 9 races all set at Crippling, when you can get the same score for defeating only one character set at Crippling? And making it so you cannot have your starting world be near an opponent also screws up my strategies, as well as them making it harder to run an effective economy. I would have preferred if they had just had the version fix all the problems with the previous version and add more ship components and better alien dialogs and more options when talking to them, rather then changing how the game is played. Now we have a harder game that needs to be relearned and has lots of bugs again, and less enjoyable to play.

I don't know, I might just give up on it, and play other games, or just play it occasionally on easier settings just for the fun of it, and not submit my scores to the metaverse.

Getting totally discouraged, I think I will give up on the metaverse.   

No need to be sorry. Sometimes thing just happen that you have no control over. Only persistance and some old fashioned hard work will bring us back to the top.

Lord Reaper, your scores shouldn't be degrading any more than is natural. There's no modifier on 1.2 scores versus 1.3, though users are strongly encouraged to use the latest version due to issues in 1.2 that can cause (during the game) or lead to (if the posted games are manually reviewed and found to be anomalous) a cheat flag.

I didn't want to, but I upgraded to 1.3 to try it out. Started a game on painful instead of crippling, but already having economic problems and that is usually what I am good at. I will play it a little while and see how bad it gets.   

Why did they flag your games now and not before? It seems to me that the same thing happen also to other empires. Due to the fact that now the game is more difficult than before and it is almost impossible to reach scores of the old versions (1,2 and before) it will not be better to low all the scores?

That's a shame. All that effort gone to waste.

I hope that someone else in the The Galactic Empire will pick up the baton and the empire does not wither away.

Yes it looks as if it will be a fine battle between the Galactic Diplomats and the Orca's for some time to come. Who will win? Perhaps you can help decide.

Stop by the Galactic Core for interesting GCII discussion. Though the Core does host the Diplomat's private forum, the Core itself is empire neutral, everyone is welcome (including Orca's).

I'm in agreement with Lord Reaper's post. 1.3 was not quite what I had expected. I was hoping to see bug fixes and new content. What we got was a whole new game. If they felt the game needed an "adjustment" they should have done it gradually. What they did was a shock. It messed with the scoring system too. 1.3 scores are quite a bit lower.

That's ghastly all of MU's scores where flagged. I've looked at those scores and did not see anything screwy there. Did someone actually go in and manually flag them? That wouldn't make sense. There are others with scores that do look screwy and those have not been flagged, WTF?

It will be very nice to know why did they flag games of Master U without, apparently, an explanation.
Also it can be an idea to "adjust" ALL the scores according to the "adjustments" of the game.
Master U did a great job to start an empire, take care of it and bring it to the top levels; he gave his time and his efforts to make it what is now, so i think i can understand him when he said he doesn't care anymore, but i think he should be proud of what he did and he shouldn't leave if he still enjoy the game... just take it more easy and prepare to get the third place empire medal (I know it will not be easy and it will not happen in short time, but there is nor reason to be in a hurry!  ).

I am not going to leave the Empire either, but I don't know how much longer I will continue to play, the game has got harder and less rewarding, harder to get points. You have to play a much longer game now since it is so slow to develop an economy. I used to get bored with gigantic games that took me 5 or 6 years and would take me at least 5 days to play, the one I am playing now I am on year 4 and have accomplished very little. Don't want to play a 10 year game for a fraction of the points.

Yeah I feel so bad for Master U, he's a good kid. All that work, all that time he spent, and they take it all away, without even an explanation. By doing so they actually hurt all of us in our empire, not just him.
