When I play MMOs, I use zonealarm. It asks for specific connections to be allowed or denied, so I can receive data from the ISP of the game server, but if someone else tries to get in, I can just block them off. Full firewall with no lag


And much as I like single player, I enjoy levelling in games, earning new powers, and so forth. You get to shape your character, and detail them as you wish.

Unless it's CoH, which all builds but a few are uber-gimped. Damn those dev's!

DeadDodo, you're right it is more like a chatroom than a forum but you're making friends with like minded people who all enjoy the same game. And I agree with Marc I love your Dodorian Federation stories. You're very imaginative and entertaining. I don't mind multiplayer if it's with the right people, but I don't like things that force me to be more exposed on the internet than I have to be.
