The Galactic Core Mods Site




A new Unofficial Mods database has just been released!

The new site will allow members to upload their ships/mods via FTP and then link to them in the program for all to see and download. All you need is a screenshot and a zip containing the mod files and you are ready to go. Install instructions are entered into the program as you create the new mod so people can easily use them. You also keep full control over the mod so you can erase/modily it ata ny time.

We have just secured the fantastic Kenwebbs Shipyards who will be uploading his ships to the site shortly! Are you next?

I'm sorry, I'm from Spain and I don't speak english very well.

I'm looking the forums and I see a lot of design of ship. What program you use to desing ships????

Hello !

Looking at all these wonderful ship, i wonder : How do you make those with the ".x" and ".png" file ?
What soft do you use ?
(Yes, they do not count as mod in the game so they are available anytime).

Of course, i am not an artist, but i'd like to have someday some Macross fighters and human ships, so i want to try.

AFAIK all of the ships in this thread are created using the in-game shipyard screen, not any external software.

Are there any short Primers on Making Own Ships? I am having trouble placing item on the Hulls -figure maybe there is something I am missing/not doing right (obviously)

The Galactic Core will shortly be re-opening its mods site for GCII and other games. There was a delay in accepting submissions as a very nice person deleted the database for the old site. I have been working on the new version which is forum based and will allow uploads of up to 2MB. Larger files can be stored off-site and linked to in the posts.
Please take a look in and maybe even join up if you would like to submit a mod in the future!
