The Galactic Core Mods Site




A new Unofficial Mods database has just been released!

The new site will allow members to upload their ships/mods via FTP and then link to them in the program for all to see and download. All you need is a screenshot and a zip containing the mod files and you are ready to go. Install instructions are entered into the program as you create the new mod so people can easily use them. You also keep full control over the mod so you can erase/modily it ata ny time.

We have just secured the fantastic Kenwebbs Shipyards who will be uploading his ships to the site shortly! Are you next?

The new Galactic Core GCII blog has now arrived and will be updated frequently from now on.

The speed of the updates will mainly depend on the amount of posts you people make and submit!

The blog will cover all the aspects of the GCII ‘universe’, from user tips, updates, Metaverse News, support and news on new and exciting mods too.

hmm nice page but why are there so many different sites if the official site got an database for mods and addons? wouldn't it be better to just use this one so everyone can find all mods here? It's hard to miss the database on the official site.

Simply because the official site cannot host all the mods and has an upload limit. The unofficial site carries no such limit amongst other reasons

Do you have any mods for hotseat multiplayer?


You can't mod in things like that, though there is a 'messy' way to sort-of pull it off already via a cheat code.

With the new beta now avail i am re-opeing the mods site to new mods and ship designs. More info on this to follow.


For those of you looking for the Mars Alpha Shipyard the host removed the section for some reason so the ships will be moved to the Galactic Core mods site shortly.

I tried downloading some modds recently i saved them toi the write folders put they aren't there when i go to use them. i havent resistered the game and haven't beat the campain. If any one knws what is wrong let me know in a post after this one.

For some reason i keep getting this error message when i try the Galciv Mods button that is at the galactic core.......

Fatal error: Smarty error: the $compile_dir './skins/default/compile' does not exist, or is not a directory. in /hsphere/local/home/supernov/thegalacticcore.com/forum/pafiledb/includes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

Guys/Girls the Cybertron Shipyards are always happy to include all of your ship designs as well as our own. Please dont feel yours arent up to the standard of others as most likely they have a uniqueness of their own others will love.
