Sorted now, after deleting cookies and restarting IE.

Yep    Decided for my final race for the race medal(Korx) to go with a gigantic/abundant. So for the next three weeks to a month, I'll be tackling this one. I'm hoping for a shot at besting my 130K effort.

I picked up a new keyboard, mouse and a nice big LCD screen (Viewsonic VG2021m) over the last couple of days...I can't express how nice it is to finally junk my 10 year old 17 inch CRT from two computers ago (w/tax $880 at the time), for a nice brand new 20 inch viewable LCD. The Torians are dying in nice vivid new ways and the world has many new colors!

Mag's medal is now rich gold instead of some shade of yellowish orange!

So when are you going to finally upgrade that bit of copper you have there Purge

Only running 1280x1024 myself.... On TWO 19" LCD monitors Play the game and watch a movie at same time now thanks to the core 2 processor! Go get one today folks they are worth the money.

Can you get the game to process turns if it doesn't have foreground focus, or is that why the 2 monitors are essential?

You get your Racial Victory medal by posting wins with all races. Not sure if this has been updated to require all races in DA.


I'm running on pretty much the same setup, but I'm not doing anything special with the 2nd monitor, mostly just using the browser. But I do have to say that I've noticed a tremendous difference running the game on an E6600, of course I previously had a real POS so anything would have made a big difference.

I've been having a hard enough time just keeping the copper fresh...Syrrus and Mag are tough competition!

I will admit that after bringing the monitor home and getting it all set up, that I suggested to the wife that I could move the printer and buy another monitor. It should fit into the new hole just about perfectly....Honey? Honey? Why are you looking at me that way?!?

I think a new computer will be due next year sometime.

Never tried it, sorry. Always runs fine with two but never tried it before i added the second monitor.
