I've got her sucked into Graphic Design.

I bought her a printer this last Christmas. When I was moving the computer around a couple of weeks ago and she saw me picking up the printer, she was adamant that I use caution. She told me it was second only to her car as her most valuable possession!

I just need to wait until she gets used to the monitor....I can practically hear the requests for computer upgrades pouring in!

I need a plan - I can't justify an upgrade and another monitor for the dog   

You need to get another dog that needs a new computer. That usually does it for me.

Btw managed to convince the wife i needed a new external drive as my pc has gone down after i accidently deleted a core system file    Now the new external drive is due next week and then i can shift all my programs over to that and only use the base drive for windows. Just got to wait for it to arrive before i can carry on reinstalling the programs again

Oh well patience i guess.

BTW with all that has been going on over the last few weeks for me i have not had the chance to do the Times this month. Therefore the first edition will go out next month. Sorry for the delay people.

I now own ~half of my huge DA galaxy...Finally. This is not going to be a high scoring game, but it was interesting. Just a matter of rolling up the map. Anyone like to buy some surplus green leather?

If you've got enough we could just have a metaverse wide BBQ   . Unfortunately( or rather fortunately for them) the Torians aren't in my current game so I can't contribute any.

Someone else will have to provide the Yor legs. They aren't in my current game. I may have to experiment with how to cook a Korx or a Drath. I'm not to worried, I'll soon have some Drengin slaves to put in the kitchen. There should be plenty for a BBQ.

I am, ever so slowly, rolling up my game. I'm on only a huge abundant all map, and it just takes forever to roll up the AI...The problem is two-fold. Slow ships speeds and interface problems. I seem to not be getting ship build notifications on most turns, so I have to troll my planets (400+) looking for any that have ships in orbit to find my new builds. I am also having significant numbers of ships lose their autopilots, so then I get to cycle through every ship with movement points and re-issue autopilot commands to all the "lost" ships. I used to have the happen in a non-repeatable way every now and then in DL, but not like this. I think it's worse because of the pure numbers of ships I have moving (due to slower ships, I have more in transit)...Ugh, talk about painful micromanagement. This game is taking me significantly longer than an equivalent DL game.

Thankfully there are only two races left. I simply need more transports and I can finish them. But at this rate, who knows how long that will take?

Hi all !

I was wondering if you guys were taking on new members by any chance?

I just started playing a few weeks ago (GalCiv2 Gold Edition) and I'm quite addicted to it. I played a few "sandbox" games to get familiar with the interface and the game itself. I've worked my way up to playing on a Medium Map with 5-6 opponents on Normal or Challenging.
I have only just recently started to post games to the Metaverse. Concurrently only 2 games posted a third probably tonight. Usually I "win" by Diplomatic Victory so my points aren't all that high.
Anyways, I'm looking to get the most fun out of the game, understand it better and discuss and learn different strategies.
Hopefully, your empire has some room for little 'ole me. I look forward to joining up with you all.
