Duke is still the original one-liner spewing badass. Serious Sam tried and was good mindless fun, but still not Duke. I'd definitely checkout whatever they come up with, but am ever leery of sequels and remakes nowadays.

This game's biggest fail is No PC version. [e digicons];P[/e]
Closest thing I've heard to a Sims game being of interest to me, but I'd still have to give it a good test drive before any cash goes out. Even though the games theme might be better, EA's give you a few things with the game and sell you everything that should of come with it policy will still tarnish the experience.
Got to the metaverse section, account/edit my characters and click the default button on the right for the character's medals you'd like to show.
In the databanks section of the site there is some good info including a bit of backstory by Brad.
I thought the way they did the campaign was pretty good. There was kinda three story lines. Two short ones intertwined with the main. The fact that you get to see a couple of them to some kind of conclusion softens the blow of the main left to continue I thought. And you had to wonder if *spoilerlite* Raynor was going to tag the Doc [e digicons][/e] </spa
Try sticking them in your Install directory's custom map folder. It's under GalCiv2/Twilight/Data/CustomMaps . I've gotten them to load successfully from there.
While the map editor is ok(when it doesn't create crashing maps). I found just doing the .xmls directly is as easy as trying to use some of the other editors.
You could at least spell well when you insult folks, you whinger.
After seeing this and hearing my friend in Australia pronounce it with a g in it I had to look it up. I had always heard it as whine growing up and through life up until recently. Turns out both whinge and whine mean the same thing. So I'm unsure if you were going after the lack of a g or the extra n with your statement. :) I am just not sure if it's a geographical thing or what though, as I had never hea
(Are you getting the steam emails too? The ones that say "Use steam or the kitten gets it!"?)
More like "Use Steam or never play another overhyped, so-called AAA title again" I'm actually surprised this post made it past the mods initially. The OP just looked like an advert/spam complete with links back to steamand no actual input by the poster. After seeing Rebel's replies now, I am starting to believe he works for steam.
Yeah, it's terrible that someone spent two minutes signing a meaningless proclamation to show support for a local company that brings in large quantities of tax revenue.
You know nothing involving the government works that efficiently ;) . Seeing as it's Civ V day, a game that hasn't come out, instead of a homage to the series I'd say somebody's advertising budget was at work anyways. So the state probably did come out ahead on this one. :)
The fact that our government officials spend their time and our money doing such frivolous crap is ludicrous. But it is kinda funny in it's ridiculousness.
I want a real sequel to the 1994(?) Genesis/SNES release of Shadowrun. I still give it a play through about once every couple of years. And not that garbage they released for PC a few years back with the SR name. a new P.T.O. is another I'd love to see. I still have my P.T.O. II on Saturn. Can't seem to find a copy of the PC version Seems kinda hard to find at least at a decent price. Must be kinda rare from what I can tell.
You know what would be more disturbing? Valve striking a deal with Microsoft, by which Steam becomes a windows service required for windows to run, on all computers. Your windows logins become steam logins too.
Didn't MS already go through that with a so called required IE. That would sound like the makings of another anti-trust suit
Well, I was a one of the naysayers. "oh it's just slightly updates SC", or "How the hell can they be doing this and that". After spending some time with it at a friends. OMG! It may actually be worth it. Just fricken awesome from what I've seen. And for someone like me only interested in SP campaign or skirmish, there is already hacks out where you never have to let it online for anything. Win!
Hate to hear that about BFG. Have used nothing but them for years and have no complaints. Still have one of their 6800OCs in a PC I threw together out of my old parts for my g/f. One of the two fans stopped working several years ago and it still never overheats and keeps chugging along.
Want to see what real RTS is? Have a look at 300 actions a minute. Clickfest is what you get with RTS.
That is nuts. I don't see where the fun is at that point. You have no time to actually enjoy the game. I guess you throw fun out the window when making a career out of it.
I guess it's not likely they don't see certain things like this until it explodes and affects a lot of people. VAC is an automated system, and if/when it ever has a false trigger it will affect many people, and this isn't the first time this has happened.
And your final sentence explains it all. Incorporating an automated system that has already failed with no checks or balances. Guilty until proven faulty software. Then for them to say their hands are tied and that VAC
These corps always pull that shit. They have no interest in making it right until it blows up and becomes bad press.
Finally the regular Joes win one. And gamers take note of the last paragraph. I have always pretty much ignored our pro-corporate/anti-consumer government on such matters, but they finally get one right. Anything I buy, I own and alter as I see fit anyways. For those though that were afraid to take control of their products via some sort of legal backlash can finally have at it. :)
Wonder how long till someone takes the opportunity to ridicule the iCantPostPad. :) Ok maybe I just did in a way ;) I would think with many Stardockians having and posting from ipads on the forums, that if a universal problem existed it would of been made known on here by now. Makes it sound like it may be a somewhat unique issue.
I think it was the suit in Halo that was called spartan, but it's been a long time to remember right. Halo 2 was my last outing with the franchise, which leads to my next comment. Why would peeps think this would be a Halo game? Wouldn't Bungie be working on that? Then again it's a console developer, so they could be long dead and gone and I probably wouldn't know. I would look forward to something along the lines of AoE, but I doubt this is it. The style is kinda childish loo
While I am definitely on the PC, mouse/keyboard side of things, I can't imagine trying to play MotoGP or some of my other racing games without my trusty Logitech Controller. I still have the mouse/keyboard for my Dreamcast and the keyboard adapter(PS2 type) for my Saturn.
On North Korea; Same shit, different year. On U.N.; A bunch of hot air. Their sanctions have yet to initiate compliance for anyone they have put them on. See a similarity? Neither is worth the time or the wasted effort of worrying about.
