I'll draw a line in the stardust there.

I wouldn't want to see stargates replace mini freighters. Having to protect trade routes and being able to interrupt enemy trade routes should still be part of the strategy of the game.

ASOD3IuhOI doifhso67dfih (&Y(AFK[.1AKFkbjlohwe Oops, sorry. Let's try that again now that we've researched the translator. I'm here Frogboy.
When I read that quickly I thought it said "Frog Busting". ' '
've tried highlighting text and clicking "Q" but all I get is an "Error on page" message in the lower left corner of my browser. Thanks.
rvettes coming at me but few if any capital ships. IIRC this was a problem in straight GC I as well. Not sure why the AI "panics" and starts building these junk ships but it's a fatal decision IMO.
In my current game of AP I've noticed the AI sometimes protects it's systems with just colony ships. Pretty useless except to absorb some damage. Hopefully that will get fixed in GC II.
Playing Civ 3 Complete right now and yes that is a nice touch. Chrome for sure, but it would be even better in GC II given the limitless variety of landscapes that are possible.
of the designers elaborate on this please? Thanks. So many questions.
As a follow up I just tried this in AP and it works! You can't right click on a tech if it is part of a trade offer but you can right click on them when they're still in the list of possible trades.
I'll second that idea.
I didn't mean to imply TG subbers wouldn't get to beta. My reply above was to the confusion that I and others had with that sentence in the GC News that said AP owners would get to beta test.

I asked that question in the GC forums and the answer is you must pre-order GC II to beta test it.
That is one fugly looking ship! Are you sure that thing will fly?!

OK, I missed that you could zoom in and out on the main screen. Thanks.
ection on many of the design decisions to offer something different?
into 5 areas or 50 into one and 25 into two others, etc. The idea that your entire empire would only research one area at a time is "unrealistic" IMO.
research to defend against strike forces or alternatively an additional espionage slider to apply bc's to counter strike forces. Also there could be additional techs to research to enhance the chances of a successful strike.
Size matters. My feeling is the current Gigantic galaxy is too small. It feels like I often run into another race too ealry in the game. IIRC the max number of races in a game will be going up for GC II. Are there any plans for a bigger galaxy size to accomodate the increase? Thanks.
omeone is submitting a score from an unmodded game, then have more than one Metaverse for GC2. One would be for unmodded games and the other for modded games. Just a thought.
different research tree, completey different ships, if your race even needs ships at all, would be great fun.
