the bedrock might give a strategic edge, but a sweeping scorched earth policy could make the war harder and harder to fight in the long run, and has more impact than a 'mere' morality penalty.

a whole different angle to the game. It's an angle I like but I imagine its out of the scope of GC2 to develop.
ettier than the ones in GC1. Seems like there's much more to look at which is great.
I'd love to see a few more screenshots and concept art, any chance of releasing a little more for us to croon over? The "Hyperdrive in development" image suggests you might be including a research complete animation similiar to the Moo series, which is something I really did miss in Gal Civ. Am I on the right lines or is that taken from a cutscene?
Umm.....yes.....yes. Here. I think. No, I definitely am. I'm here to comment and look at screenshots, just remember to question everything I say as I know nothing. I think.....
e time, click turn, then wait for the other players to finish. There could still be long pauses if another player has a busy turn, but it was faster than hotseat play.

set the ambiance a little better and gives your planets a more personal touch... Yeah, I always liked that too. It makes the colonies feel less like a statistic and more like a part of the game world.
r> Funny, why didnt I think of that?
tion is the ability to pick disadvantages to free up points elsewhere of course.
ould see the wisdom of boosting my ability to fight! Maybe the ai could lower its values on tech trades with allies or in times of war?
mage per turn, so that might need tweaking.
gal civ didnt show enough cutscenes overall.
would be nice to have the option sometimes of developing more before colliding with neighbours. Maybe we simply need a size above gigantic? "Epic"? "A wee bit big"?
Good question though. What are the start up civilisation options going to be like?
ably never see it come out. Everything has to be released sooner or later, if the developer is completely finished or not, which is why we get sequels and the odd patch!
be able to post here. I'm here based on my Altarian Prophecy purchase I think. But anyway, back to the topic. Events. More of. And more sophisticated? I'm interested to hear what that means!

in your empire, you'll be faced with the dilemma of concentrating your forces around these key worlds to protect the shipyards or spreading your fleet out to protect planets in more immediate danger.
"what you got" has just been utterly rebuffed by Stardock staff. Chuck it in the spam folder. As gal civ 2 hasn't gone into beta testing yet, Gal Civ 3 could be a long wait!
