Did not realise the program was still being worked on, there is no mention it is an Alpha or Beta version, if that is so i would never have dowloaded it in the first place. I also endorse the comments made by Ian.

W/Bs up to and including version 6.0, works fine on my vista pc. All versions and upgrades after that do not work. I have had countless suggestions and help from stardock, but none work. This is not an isolated problem, i have read many reports from members about this but stardock dont seem to be able to solve it. My advise would be to stay with ver 6.0, at least it works... :SNIFF!:
I have not been able to update since W/Bs 6.0. I have tried all that has been suggested to me by support but to no avail. Needless to say 6.2 dosnt work for me also. When my subscription is due next month i will not be renewing as i cannot upgrade W/Bs, which is my main programme.
I would ask them to send you version 6.0, as i,and many more, have had a lot of trouble trying to get version 6.1 to work...

Not put a ticket in to support, but got a lot of suggestions and help from high ranking officials. Like i said in comment 7, i will be patient and wait for a compatable update. thanks.

Again this latest download does not work for me. Just like the last build, it does not let me change the blinds, and before anyone suggests i try this that and the other, i have done everything that has been thrown at me. I will stay with version 6.0 build 49 x 86 vista edition.
It will be agood app, once the bugs are sorted. :p

Seabass i have tried all what you have suggested, all to no avail. I have gone back to ver 6.0. as i have uninstalled and installed to many times i Will close this matter, and wait for another update to W/Bs, then try again. Thanks for the help and suggestions from everyone.
When i try to change skins , it trys but fails to change until i reboot and the skin has changed to the one i attempted to change. Very strange, it looks like i will be going back to ver 6.0. frustrating. !!!!!!

I change skins on a regular basis. If you are a W/Bs user dont upgrade to verion 6.1. I did via stardock central, and it wont let you apply any skins. Why stardock do this is beyond me. :SNIFF!:

[B]Rutabaga64,[/B]I agree with all you say about your attempts to upgrade to this latest version of W/Bs,i went through all that trauma trying to upgrade on my vista PC. I dont see many replies from stardock over these issues, its obvious from the posts that all is not well with this upgrade. I second your closing comments about not upgrading till all the bugs are worked out.
my advise on this latest update is to stear well clear of it.i experienced most of the above problems,but in the end had to do a restore to get W/Bs to work again.Not very impressed with SDC at the moment. :SNIFF!:
