I had the same event in my game as the Yor. After looking at the rest of the population graphs over about 20 weeks, I was not losing citizens - I was gaining them! I assume that as 'mechanic' life, the Yor are immune to such viruses - and I had the Firewall and Antivirus techs also pre-researched (good thing; they're pretty expensive!!) Just another 'hidden' reason to play the Yor, I suppose. :D
