I'm not sure what you're saying... If you're not going to let the AI trade planets, disable it on the diplomacy parlay screen. - Nobody
no matter what I throw at them. Why even make it an option if we can't use it? - Nobody
bute, Paul, but they're leaving in the ability to trade cash. I really liked the whole tribute thing. It let me feed money directly into my planets rather than to have it sit idle in my coffers. - Nobody
Yeah...fog-of-war... Basically, you could tell your scouts to uncover all the fog-of-war in the galaxy. - Nobody
If you're talking about the survey ship... The AI for the survey ship won't trigger unless you have uncaptured anomalies. - Nobody
I have a suggestion on an AI mode you can set for your starships: Auto Explore With this setting, ships (scouts) automatically go about uncovering the fog-of-war. This would differ from "sector sweep" in that the starship wouldn't limit itself to one sector. - Nobody (Don't forget the Auto-Upgrade AI on constructors, either.)
Thank you, Brad, for answering my questions. - Nobody
No tribute? Noooooooooooooo! - Nobody
That would be nice. It would make a great cheat option. - Nobody
- Nobody P.S. That image is 1024x768, folks. Don't be afraid to save it and open it with an image viewer.
l interest in it, though. What rankled me about the game was how arrogant the developers were. "We know the best way to lay out planets, but we're going to dummy down the AI so that it makes stupid building choices." - Nobody
ilt constructors would come up as human-controlled. And then? I would revel in my glory. I'm dreaming, though... - Nobody
number of upgrade elements I have to remember. Would you guys/gals consider adding in a few time-savers in the starbase department? ::cough::queue::cough:: - Nobody
not sure I like this idea, Cari. Starbase micromanagement was bad enough, but this just sounds like more work for the same gains. I like fiddling with sliders better than watching constructors. - Nobody
supposed to like? Nope, sorry... - Nobody
ou can set before a constructor is built. 3. I agree with fsk+. But I also think ALL abilities (trade, influence, production, etc) should be related to distance. - Nobody
More info is always good. More info displayed neatly and not buried under tons of menus is even better. - Nobody
is very appealing in a strategy game. Anyways... I'd be more inclined to lean your way if the techs in Galciv actually did something. - Nobody

In regards to being able to select your race... You can play as any race, true, but what separates Humas from Drengin other than fur and some awesome background music? If I play as the Drengin, will I find that other races are predisposed to give in to my bullying tactics? If I play as the Altarians, will I start off as "good"? Will choosing a race be more like choosing a political party in Galciv 1? Will the fixed r

Free expansions? Or pay expansions? - Nobody
>You can only have one building per tile, but you can put multiple upgrades on that tile. What limits us from constantly upgrading tiles? Upkeep? A fixed limit? - Nobody
