Cliff, I'm going to give you something to think about. You and the other artists share your creations with us, hoping they will be appreciated or at least recieve constructive criticism. Just as your artwork is an extension of your soul, so are the words coming from those who comment, in my mind, this shows me that someone who dumps a bunch of negitivity has no respect or compassion for his fellow human beings. With this in mind, I find that kind o

Feedback: The speed improvement is fantastic! I can trade-off customizing the view for the faster page rendering. Increasing the lists of new skins to twenty is good, and thumbnails would help viewers to more easily decide what to checkout, which may reduce the traffic load when the thumbnails act as a filter in finding what appeals to a particular intrest. Having the skin name and associated program will clear up the confusion between a widget and

Not to talk you out of a chalenge, but..., Being a Trillian user myself and not liking the conflict in appearance with my chosen skins, I found another solution. Not being a skinner myself in fact when it comes to drawing, (all I can draw is "attention"!) I switch my messenger program over to "Gaim" . It is open-sourced, very well writen and it uses what ever WindowBlind skin your using at the time. Basicly it does everything that Trillian-Basic doe

I've been following your four installments with great intrest. (Where were you a couple of weeks ago when we were looking for a well-spoken candidate for our country ;) )Kidding aside, I have met to many computer users that have no idea they can change their operating environment to make things easier and more accesable. Needless to say, they never heard of Stardock or WindowBlinds. The advertising needs to also be directed to the general public, li

One good thing about this spamming clown, is that this article was brought up to the top of the "most recient" list. Now I have enough info to try working with some widgets. (this could be dangerous)

Hopefully one of the administrators here at WinCustomize will drop in and see your posting. I know some of the messageboards and other stuff is still being brought over from the old website, and its not easy to find thing right now. I've had a hard time with this myself. Good luck, I'll be searching along with you.

Another opinion (we all know what opinons are worth) Stationary adds are ok with me, ya have to pay the rent as we all know. Jusst please not the ones that keep flashing in your face. You're adding modules every few days, like your thinking at the same rate as me. Keep up the good work, and thanks!

Hey I dont have a Positive Respect Out here and i dont even know how to earn it Look at how many downloads your artworks have gotten, now compare hat to how many comments were made. That huge difference is alot of people that are intrested in your work, but don't bother to comment. That has to equate to some kind of appreciation and respect. Th

Fromm one of the "quiet ones" that rarely speek up... I have been surfing around WinCustomize for several years, used "WindowBlinds" for a while before purchasing into "ObjectDesktop" this past year. I have admired the amount of contributed artwork by people that could probably make money at what they do. I have also read many of the comments about particular skins and been amazed by the attitude of some that have taken on the attitude that you have addressed. I have , on a couple occasions

For what its worth, I recieved the cd from Microsoft end of last week, gave me no problems. I'm running XP Pro on a Dell Dimensions V400c, with latest version of WindowBlinds, IconPackager, DesktopX, and IconX.

To Frogboy and the community: It's not often you see my name in the postings, I'm a part of what they called "the silent majority" several decades ago. As an observer and subscriber to this wonderful community, I feel that I need to speak at this time. I'm sure if you counted the number of subscribers and compared to the number of people that post, you would find a large number of people that quietly enjoy the many skins, themes and artwork of all the people that have the talent and dedicatio
