Ok, this thing is just crazy. It has some passive effects, but those are unimportant. You're paying the 13,000 gold for it's ability. It's ability does the following. +300 weapon damage for 10 seconds. Yep. It's quite crazy. Let suppose you have 1.0 attack speed. This means 3000 normal damage + your normal weapon damage. Someone with high attack speed (say, 0.5), is going to get 6000 normal damage out of this! 6000! And here's an even better bonus... It applies to near

The only problem is that if you're trying to gank someone, and you have both spike abilities, trying to shield + switch form + nuke + nuke + switch + shield etc etc leaves no time for normal attacks. So, if you can, just stay in open form till they die.

rain, I'm sorry but you're wrong. who, you're actually right. It is diminishing returns though. If you have 3833, you get 60.5% armour. If you have 400, you get 13.7%. If you have 10,000 you get 80%. Very clearly diminishing returns.
yea, give it a week or so. Practice with single, experiment with different demigods and builds. EVERY multiplayer based game that I have played in recent memory has had significant server problems at launch.
Left 4 Dead was is the best MP launch I've experienced (tho Demigod is my 3rd so...). Biggest problem was it could take 5+ minutes to find a server, and that's assuming you join a lobby and not a game in progress.&nbsp

It sounds like you want Demigod to have MMORPG elements. I hate MMORPGs. :/ Controlling where the creeps go is an interesting idea. It adds more strategy, but at the same time takes away strategy. Maybe there could be a way to buy new paths, and it could let you switch between 2-3 options for each portal. I wouldn't really call Demigod an RTS. It's more of a 3rd person RPG arena type game.
which brings up....should you even be allowed to buy and equip more than 1 helmet/breastplate/ect.? It makes no sense, even in general RPG and RTS games.
The story behind that is that they're fighting in a spiritual realm created by the gods so they can bend the rules a bit, like letting you wear 2 or more breastplates. That's also the reason when you die you respawn. :p
