I can't imagine that this is an intended feature since that means an opponent's strategy can be to simply fight until their hp is around 200 or so and run if they know the TB is out of mana, ie early game.

Aside from #1, no particular order of the top 5. 1. Sublime 2. Bad Religion 3. Rage Against the Machine 4. Atmosphere (especially God Loves Ugly and Lucy Ford) 5. Pantera (after cowboys from hell)

Start building better infrastructure on your first few planets ie population; this will increase your income. Don't overextend yourself too early this will only cost you money since underpopulated planets cost you money. Defensive structures if well placed can save you lots of ships. keep your capital ships and their entourage on the front so you are getting the most use out of them. And if the pirates are such a problem then start bribing them to attack your enemy for
They are not being slow at all. It hasnt been out long. I wouldnt expect new demigods for about 2 months from now. BUT i would like to know.
I agree to an extent. I've been really impressed with the amount of work they've put in to get to this point ie connection issues, bugs, etc. However now that that is mostly squared I just hope that they put as much effort into new demigods, maps, and variety in general. The game is really impressive which is why so

Been wondering about that myself but keep getting the, "We're in constant contact" response. Disagree with the favor points idea though. It would possibly limit newcomers from getting experience with what could be the demigod type that best suits them. That's if the new ones are as diverse as the original 8.

Can't make my own list seeing as how I've only had a computer for about a year and a half; gotta love a good rts on a console right? Unfortunate since this has been my genre of choice ever since simcity back in the early 90's. I'm not seeing much love for C&C 3, it's expansion, or Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. All three being fantastic games in my opinion. C&C for a quick fix and Forged Alliance for a more diverse experience. Also, I only p

Glad to see someone else who seems to have noticed the TB can't seem to target well. His standard attack doesn't work vs a fleeing demigod because it has a setup time and he always starts at the first possible moment and as they move they are immediately out of his range. Amounting to a very frustrating bout of watching him suffer from cerebral palsy as they run with no dmg being dealt. Probably gonna get flamed for that . I'm not saying he's underpower

I know connection issues come first but I was just wondering since they seem to be starting to focus on other games, issues, etc. what kind of timetable we were looking at. What about maps any news there?

I check the forums pretty regular and haven't seen any recent mention of a timeframe for the release of the new playable demigods. Anybody read something I haven't? Just curious, I know they've been working on connectivity issues but I'd heard it mentioned before and haven't seen anything recent. I also haven't read anything about any new maps at all which is something I find this game sorely lacking. Don't get me wrong, the ones available are beautiful and well though

I still don't think they'll mess up the formula as bad as Dawn of War 2 did. I wish they had stuck to the mature RTS market instead of trying to make it more of an RPG. I'm not knocking that scene but I don't think there are really that many solid real time strategy games out there. Don't get me wrong there were plenty of things they could have improved upon such as the base building and adding more variety to their maps but to take it in such a different direction was

Where can I find recent developments on SC2. As a big fan of the original and it's expansion I was really looking forward to it even though GPG decided to work with Square Enix. But the best part of the game was how epic the battles seemed and the ability to win on your own terms whether it be by land sea or air. How is it getting dumbed down?

How about a demigod dragon similar in size to Rook as an assassin? Or a couple of generals that look like the werewolf from Underworld or like the queen alien from the movie Aliens? I still haven't got the hang of the general class of demigod but I think the werewolf could spawn minions similar to erebus and the alien would spawn them from herself. I realize this may appear as blatant plagiarism but I'm merely using these as something to build off of. I don't even w

Agree with most of this except the 16 demigods. My view is the more the better. It seems to me that the appeal of this game is adapting on the fly according to what the other side is capable of whether that be defense/support oriented demigods or offensive.
