@zarker99 You know that you can customize the races, if you want them to have less in economic, refering to abilities, then give them no points to it. You can nerf them that is to say, which means to make them less powerful. And for example the drengin, (which I find most annyoing), is to let them have more points in weapon and soldiering, as they already have "inheret" points on this ones. And that they also have the political party "War Party". It can be really tough to let them go

@zarker99 When I try to keep up the morale of an high populated planet I go for technologies that gives does nice morale keeping buildings. But it depends on which race you go for. If you go for The Torians you will be able to build very nice buildings that gives a high morale boost to your planets, though it is expense early in the game to research does techs. But in the early game you don't have so much people to take care of so it will be no problem. And it is very important to

This is one of my newly designed ship. It is supposed to look like a Void Ray (refering to Starcraft - Protoss ships). With the middle thing on the ship rotating (animated).
Had it happen to me once early on in a game and had to sit there and research my way up the tech tree to a point i could throw together a ship that could stand up to them. Needs to be at least a large hull with plenty of defense and a good amount of offense to boot. Miniaturization is the key to beating them once they appear. That and plenty of money to buy the ships once you have them researched. The orbital command structure is handy too as then a
Yeah some mega events are quiet fair but I have never stumbled upon this kind of mega pirates event before when you get outclassed by weapon and defence techs. And in just 160 turns. Do you guys think it is a bug or? I mean there are no chance right now for any civilizations to build up a fleet and encounter does darn pirates at the moment. Because every nations has about 0 attack ships (yay)! [e digicons][/e]
Hi galciv gamers! I just had my metaverse game and everything went OK until does "Events" came.. [e digicons]-_-[/e] One of my worst scenario just came to me. Pirates with absurdly firepower and defence spawned in the galaxy! I tried to fight them out but it was too much for me and also for the other nations too. It was just early in the game when you only got low weapon technologies. But does pirates had at most 30 damage for one fleet and also 20 in def

Hi! How do you post a picture in the forum? I would like to post a picture of my ship but I can't find where the pictures are located in the documents of the game. / Mandrall.
No mods because I only play Metaverse Games but I have put somethings in GFX folder to change the suns to have solar flares, and sensors are purple. I also adjusted the Nebula density. Yes, I think it was High Resolution Graphics Mod but it has Metverse option in it.
Ok, it looks nice anyway!
Do you start the game off with one alliance? I seem to have, or acquired it early anyhow, in recent games.
You can set the relationship with the other races to "Team", if it that you mean?
I like the background of the space. It has a different look, is it a mod?
Maybe this will help you out. There is this " Find" button that you can use. When you click on it the camera in the game moves directly to the ships that have no orders. And when the " Turn " button get a green lit around it means that all ships have their given order. If it not lit green then it means you have ships with movements left. There is an option that let you make all the ships movement even if you have clicked the turn butt

I just love this game and I hope it get more popular each day! [e digicons][/e] The story-fiction is great and intresting. My first SD game was also GC1. [e digicons]:D[/e]
This game is much about how fast you make your decisions and reacts or adapt with the situation. I have played this game for awhile in multiplayer (1v1) mostly and I found it pretty enjoyable and satisfying. The game itself can get very intensive and exciting when you first engage your opponent but how you manage to control your units is the key to keep them alive - "micro-management". / Have a good one!
Hello galciv players! :D I just want to inform you guys that this setups have been really enjoying for me: Galaxy Size: Large Habitable Planets: Occasional Number of Planets: Occasional Star Density: Tight Clusters Anomalies: Abundant Number of Astroids: Abundant Technology Rate: Normal Number of Minor Races: Random Number of Major Races: 9 (full slot) ..and the
Thanks! It has bugged me about the score difference of the winning conditions. I thought like before that "Technological Victory" gives more score then "Influence Victory", but now I know the slight difference of it.
OK, thanks!
If you leave the United Planets you wont be able to trade with other major races, but can you trade with the minor races even if you leave the U.P.?
Lol [e digicons]XD[/e] Yeah it happens all the time for me. Especially when I play on high diffeculty like "Tough or "Painful". The AI, likes to blackmail the weaker races. But does evil races blackmail more then good races? Just wondering.
To make a better relationship with another race you definitely need to trade, build a force of fleets and research diplomatic techs. If you build too many fleets it can give an penalty for your relation with the race X. Relation factor, called "Too Militaristic" is what you get than, which is negative for the relationship. And if you park your fleets near the race X:s planets with transports and attack ships, you would mostly get suspicious by the race X for planing an sneak attack (relation
Hi guys! I was wondering today if there is a possibility to make your own playlist in-game?
