Point taken Grathocke. But then again, I'm a control freak when it comes down to managing stuff in games. I would like to be in control of most aspects of the game. And if I'm not in charge of something that I think is important I take a bitch mint. In other words I spaz. And the term "Take a bitch mint!" comes from my girlfriend seeing a package of mints labeled "Bitch Mints" in a souvenier store up in Ketchikan Alaska. We took a cruise there. I will now contradict you Grathocke. I like to do lots of micromanaging. It is annoying, but I like to do it because it adds more depth to the game. Take the Total War series, that's the kind of micromanaging that I like. You have full control of your economy. You have a decent amount of control over your troops. Etc, etc, etc. But, it is at times too much to handle. So yes, there should be a more general micromanaging system. Where from a single screen you can control

This idea could make the diplomacy interactions all that much more interesting. Only in emergencies do you use the Diplo Screen. Oh look here come the Dread Lords and the Peacekeepers with their Pirate bodyguards. Better dust off this Diplomatic Translator.......

Maybe in order to negotiate peace treaties, you must send delegates to the other civ. That could count as civilian craft I think.

Hey Scout........ This is not the largest post on the site per se....... The Tyranny Of Evil Empire post reaches close to 3000 replies (almost). But this is the largest non-empire related post. So yeah, it is very cool and humbling. BUT WE'RE STILL NOT AT A 1000!!!!!! SO KEEP REPLYING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it might have been mentioned before, but.......... You should be able to stockpile starbase resources the same way as BC's, then you could distribute them yourself where needed. The same should go for Trade Goods. You generate a certain amount per turn (here's where social production comes in to help out, more social production, more goods per turn, no more having to waste social production ever again). 10 factories on planet with ultra spices, equals, 100 Interstellar Sh

Don't make me (twitch) start twitching, I don't know if I will recover....... But on a more "on-topic" note........... You shouldn't be able to tech whore other civs, it's a waste of your time and theirs. So the sessions cannot be indeffinate, they must have a limit (like 10 successful transactions tops). Also you should be able to ask a civ a week in advance to have a diplomatic meeting. The meeting types would be: Resource Exchange, Tech Exchange, Ship Exchange, Trea

(After I have recovered from my "minor" "dilemma"....) What about giving the races a patience limit on the diplomacy screen. Examples.......... If you keep asking for the same tech for too long, your relations will begin to go down. If you take to long in making an offer, the other race will simply disconnect, and will not want to talk to you for a long time. If your offers are consistently inadequete, they will get pissed off at you as well.
