Thank you so much for this mod. My friends and I have had a blast with it!

Artifact shop doesn't seem to be working in v1.1 Something might need to be done about Regulus' Snipe -- the enemy's tower and citadel are both within sniping range. Perhaps reduce the maximum snipe range? Or move the walls closer to each team's base.
Ok. Hear me out on this one. I think there should be a final boss of a HUGE Oak Spirit. The way the spirit moved would make it CRAZY fun fights if you made it like...1 or 2 shot people. Stun, backoff, etc. Oh. make it so it counts as a DG so its stuns are much shorter. Oh, and a longer immunity to stuns. And some crazy proc that does something. Iuno.
Yes, this mod needs boss
I suggest removing teleports completely. They're not really necessary in this mod anyhow.
Also, is there a reason it's recommended to play on high XP and gold? It seemed a little silly with players stacking only artifacts and accumulating ridiculous sums of gold.
I just tried out the mod, I like it a lot. However I think TP's and warp items should be removed completely, if possible. Also center should be walled up really thick to prevent players swapping sides and attacking each other.
I also prefer the original menu music, the current song is alright but too unoriginal. The old one was catchy and even had that awesome feature where the main melody faded away while you were looking at options. I hope they put the old one back in for final release...
same here. Vista 64-bit, GTX 260
Dear Uphax, It has come to my attention that you are most displeased with my playing record in a videogame. You have correctly pointed out, in two different posts, that my win record is of substandard quality, and in consequence placed me on your personal banlist. Please accept my humblest of apologies for the following offenses against your person: - Never having played a single round of Demigod with you in my life, and thus denying you the pleasu
One minute and thirty seconds : The average time ingame that passes before suddenly realizing your teammate is a royal douchebag. (and I'm not talking about noobs) Three minutes : The amount of time you must suffer the verbal abuse of said douchebag until you can begin enjoying yourself at his expense. Player chemistry plays a huge part in the success of any given Demigod team (and enjoyment of the game in general), so it comes as no surprise that when players
Offline mode now actually functions when you turn on steam and you have no internet, you no longer have to connect online, then turn on offline mode, its just lets you go into it.
I'm not so convinced about that... Steam offline mode has never worked for me and still doesn't. If I try to open Steam with no internet, it hangs on the 'updating' screen and never actually opens. If my internet goes down without prior warning I
I've been watching this tourney with interest, but I gotta say, the scheduling thing seems pretty ridiculous. Players in the tourney shouldn't be given the luxury of picking their match times -- they should get assigned a date and time, and make time for it, not have the tourney make time for them.
I canceled my SC2 pre-order on Amazon so I could pre-order Elemental :D I'm really looking forward to this game, I know Stardock will do an awesome job with it. I've been playing Starcraft since I was a kid. It had a profound influence on my childhood. Yet when I got into the SC2 beta, I couldn't play more than 3 games. Stupid WoW graphics, no real innovation, and after playing Sins and Demigod it really bothered me that I couldn't rotate the map! (not
The changes made for Diplomacy were worthwhile, in my opinion, and I still love the pirate factor in my Sins games. It would really help if there was a slider bar option or something similar for pirate strength -- as it is now, the pirates are way too powerful (from the viewpoint of a casual player) My friends and I were having a lan match earlier and everything was fine until about 3 hours in when we discovered that a 30,000+ credits Pirate mission against a player's homewor
My game instantly mini-dumped twice today during a lan multiplayer match, both times were immediately after I issued an 'attack planet' mission to the pirates (I think both times I offered a ridiculous sum as a reward).
Severe lag will definitely mess up the game, so much so I try to kick laggy people out of my games. Don't downplay the issue please, half of peoples losses are easily from team mates dropping mid game.
It sucks when teammates drop, it's happened to everyone. And laggy games are not fun, either. But lag is a disadvantage to both teams, and more often than not players in Demigod seem quick to blame lag for a badly strategized move. I actually died once
Edited the post to clarify the type of exploit used.
Did invalid game state appear after the counter kicked off or did you just see the victory screen after the counter? This indicates the specific exploit used.
That's a good point -- there was no desync counter. The game ended as normal after the disconnect, but it was not recorded in stats. Now that you mention it, I had just associated "desync exploit" with "not showing up in stats" in my mind when in fact th
After an intense, back-and-forth round on Cataract, sho333 and his teammates start whining when they realize their cause is lost. Naturally, they immediately begin to blame their strategic shortcomings on lag. Who hasn't heard that one before? And of course, they only start whining about lag AFTER they begin losing. As the Citadel neared its death, they also started blaming Demigod itself for being buggy and p2p and some other shit that I really wasn't
I've recently played two games against both human and AI opponents and was unable to issue the "give resource" mission to most everyone. I'm pretty sure this feature is bugged in regard to the AI -- they were demanding money from me but I couldn't from them. (edit: I had the demand tribute technology researched) I'm not sure I understand the point of restricting this mission only to players who have researched the tech. It doesn't make sense that I can't demand money from
Every time I switch between Entrenchment and Diplomacy, all my settings and my screen resolution are reverted back to default. Anyone else having this issue?
Man, reading the forums these days is like power-drilling a nail into my skull. Everything's just gotten so toxic...
I submit for entrance into the Hall of Shame... the Hall of Shame itself. Seriously, this thread is pointless. Half the claims posted here aren't substantiated with screenshots as proof, which is what the OP requested. Too many people are getting slandered without real evidence to back it up. It's embarrassing for the community as a whole. Once the notes are implemented ingame, there's really no need for this thread anymore. Please lock.
I know both iamKira and Bier_Kanonier. They host games asking for "good players only" and do not stomp random noobs. They dont use vent or any form of communication (only typing) - they just know how to play. They arent really at any more of an advantage than you are. The only difference is that they have played together with each other before and are confident in each others skill. Anyway, will give the game a watch.
I would normally concede but your team wasnt exactly the best. We got giants before you and managed to lock your portal 3 times (you locked ours zero times) so we had a good enough chance at winning so that I wouldnt concede. Tbh the A.I wasnt much worst then JewishLumberJack so the game would have resulted in the same way. Just some tips - lock our portals! You guys could have easily won about 10-20 mins early if you did that. And its true the A.I often throws it
