My guess is that since the Yor were programed byu the Dread Lords they want to have info on the Korath so they got Jordan to do it.

I agree with the syars being outside the planets. Also it is OK to incorperate parts of other games into GalCiv2. For an obscure historical referance, the mongols lost the invasion of japan twoce because they didn't adapt to the strategy. The same goes with the gameing world. As long as you incorperate it into the game properly then it should be fine. Also lets try to be civil and not turne my post into an argument. :(

I personally would be content to give up a 3d map and multiplayer in order to include more of these things. I also have two minor things that could be imporved. 1. You should be able to play senarios not only as the Terrans. 2. You should be able to play as the Dread Lords in those senarios. To give annother game example: Empire at War gives you the option of commanding a battle in realtime, or just auto resolving. Also one thing that could be done is startin

One cool thing that could happen is to have each nation have different currency whose value corolates with their ranking among their neighbors. PS. When someone asked about a credit being about the value of a USD and how things wouldn't cost that much, let me reming you that the year is 2227, so who knows what the USD is worth? In just over 200 years tghe USD has lost most of its value (yes I listen to grownups when they tals about buying french fries for a quarter).

One thing that could be done about micromanaging becoming tedius is to have the option of turning control over to an admrail, and this could bring in the ideas stated previusly about having more charecters. One other important thing is to have more random events, but for most the choices arn't divided along the "good", "evil", and "neutral" lines. I would also like to underline what I stated before about planning wars with your allies. One way you could do it is to include a "

And now ladies and gentlemen, I present for your consideration… the Night Hawk. This ship is one of if not the most advanced transport in the galaxy. It has the capacity to carry 3 billion troops, amazing defenses on all categories, and a survey module. Its one weakness is in its engines, but that is easily made up for by its transport and combat capabilities. To sum it up: it owns. [img]http://img

That's a cool idea. PS. You can name ships if you click on the page icon next to their origional name on the botton of the screen like (Firehawk 2234). Then you just type the name in.

For me I have two major things that I would like. One is to have a 3d map. This is very hard to do, but if it worked then it would be WAY more realistic. Space is 3d, so a space game should be too. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "

What I would LOVE is to be able to command the different armies in a planetary invasion. If you made it so that more tiles were available on a planet to walk around on, then you can land 5-10 armies and have them march around at your bidding like in Civilization III. Also they should be able to last more than a week, so you can have a jointly occupied planet. This might be good for GCIII along with maybe a 3d map. :)

Operation Little Round Top 1 Apr-22 Jun 2230 My plan is to re-conquer the Korath world of Tykosky III which is their jumping off point into Begle I. This operation will be given #1 priority. If it succeeds then I will cut around and invade the Korath system Apollo. This, like every other operation is dependent of the Dread Lords not attacking. Right now in the war I have the advantage, but the Korath still have a much more powerful military. I am worried because those ships
