Yep Stardock are the best company out there for games that really are for the users not for the devs mansions, but a bit of profit is always good :D

Also for the research, the AI are crazy when tech trading is on, they just give away their techs to other AI so they are always more advaned than you most of the time.

This game just makes me keep coming back for me, i sadly have already gotten bored of Sins and came right back to Gal Civ 2 :)

I think this game is better than Civ 4, it has all the features of Civ 4 basicly but it also has a campagain, something Civ 4 didnt have, a very faithful dev team which make patchs and expasion packs for their games, they have made one already that got a very high ratings on major review sites like ign and gamespot. They also have another expasion pack coming out that really is a big expasion pack, new ships, research (thats the biggest change that really is different from Dark Avatar) a big dea

I finsihed it fianlly!!!! And completed the game, i went to the wrong section of the map like i thought i did it was only by a few bits too.

It was looking sucky anyway, get some other good devs to make it.

This is like Brith of the Federation, when any ship could attack a planet until the troop transport came along. Also there could be defenses in space that destroy the ships and the ships could destroy them.

Sounds like the deathstar lol. Well the main thing about the Terror Star is that its based around the story of Gal Civs, the terror star is used to destroy the dreadlords power in a super nova, its not a weapon used against planets in the story so thats why it is only going to be for a star not planets.

Well the campagain missions are basicly all the same, conquer the enemy. There are a few different missions like reach a seactor to escape or something but unless you want to play scirpted missions with give you some text each time you finish a mission then its ok.

Thats what i have done :( To bad the wormholes apper randomly each game so it wont be in the same place for me. Maybe its a bug or something because i dont think they put the ending game sector in the right place.

Hey , i am new to this site but have been playing Gal Civ 2 since it came out (its a great game). I have been playing the new campagain in Dark Avatar and up until now i have been getting through the missions fine (the last one took forever but i did it) I am stuck on the mission named ""The Death of the Knox" which is simple enough, you get that big ship you start with to sector (1,3). I did that. I press the turn button and expect Victory to come up but nothing does, i p
