[quote who="rossanderson48" reply="33" id="2733839"] I'd also say after reading the OP's post that he's more into Multiplayer than single player. Everything he talks about lingers toward multiplayer fun and balance.[/quote] You're wrong about that. I actually play 4X games exclusively against AI as playing against humans is way too hard to maintain and the effort you have invest for keeping the match going becomes tedious quickly as a single match just takes so much time

The Imperfect, the Unbalanced, the Exploit I would like to add my view on the shortcomings of elemental to the sea of critics and reviews we had the past days/hours. Many of the things I write have been mentioned before, I repeat them, partly so the devs see why we are not too happy about the game and what we expect they improve on and partly as a form of catharsis for me after playing the game since Monday withou

The devs definitely should introduce "divorced by death" to the world of elemental. Think about that: one unlucky development disables the whole feature dynasties for the rest of the game!? I think that is of questionable design. As a side note: Isn't it what those priests at Christian marriages always tell: Married until Death divorces you?

[Suggestion][Gameplay][Tactical Combat]Position Rules on the Field Hi Guys! I like to introduce some special position rules to the game which will enhance tactical combat mechanics. BUT PLEASE BEWARE: This post is LONG and I'm not eloquent in English. Reading this post will be exhausting, but I hope I can explain those ideas in a way that you can see the merit in them. Those concepts are basically a free adaption of

I'm absolutely for a stack size limit, because in any game that doesn't impose some sort of limit the game swings towards putting all eggs in one basket approach, which leads to rather boring game mechanics: build up phase, train phase, stacks of doom clash - one player wins the other player dies. Basically HOMM style of gaming. So very static, not very dynamic kind of play. So there should be some kind of limit. Preferably a modable limit. I would appreciate some kind of spe

Hi Frogboy! It is really appreciated that you are willed to spend your free time on our loved game! :-) I have few requests. Some smaller, some bigger, many unlikely that they will included – but it would be great if they are!

As I mentioned by me in a different thread before. The colonizing problem is not only with the evil races (at least for me). Quite a lot other fractions are affected as well - same behaviour I saw with Drath, Arcean and Alterians on severall games...

It's not just the Alterians, Drengin and Koraths. Since the Expansion all AI Races except of Terrans (although sometimes they also play as push overs, but not so often), Torians (always strong), Thalans and Krynn (also strong in every game) a merely push overs. The rest just dosn't colonize much nor they show any intentions to become at least a minor threat. It is realy frustrating. Today another game on painfull went down the lane because they're just not formidable, much worse as on

The only thing I really would love to see in version 2.0 is a major AI update. Especially in regards of combat and invasion. Because right now the computer is quite formidable in all fields except in waging an effective war - there it's still quite a whimp. It's inability to protect it's Transports sufficient, so that I don't shoot them down with high speed interceptors, prevents that even quite strong opponents have a chance of invading my territory. Actually this is a major poin

@Moosetek13: I don't know where you living pal, but at least in Germany as Arutha Wolfsherz already mentioned these EULA are worthless in most circumstances. And agreeing to it is not binding as it is non existing judical. It is very simple: as long the EULA is not stated in full form with all implications on the moment of purchase it is irrelevant, because the purchase contract is closed and the owner has all the rights given to him on moment of transaction. You can't change or narrow
