Later on, however, you could have battles with thousands of soldiers with a few recruited magical creatures involved along with your hero.
Oooooh, I love when you're talking dirty [e digicons]}:)[/e] [e digicons]}:)[/e] [e digicons]}:)[/e] !
No it will not die because the first week sucked
The history of video games proves otherwise. This game might not die, but it'll most likely never be very successful and will never have a large pool of players. The first week, event he first day, is the most important period of time in a game's life, particularly if it's an online game. Miss it, and the game will at best have mild success, and at worst will be deserted in a ma

To the OP: See, you're using conditional here: it "might" lose so much steam over nonsense. Truth is, it has. I love the game and have been playing since beta, but in my opinion, there's a very high probability it will never take off as it should have. I read the comments on other game forums, and they're not good. People have paid, can't play, are giving this game a bad grade and are moving on, and they most likely won't come back. Which means it's likely the game will be deserted -a

I think the towers DO respawn. It would be too much of a coincidence for root to spawn a tower right where a destroyed one was. I've seen this happening, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Rook's work.

Unless you understand the mechanics you won't fully understand the skill differences.
Not with the Bright Wizard, no :p. Otherwise, I agree with your general feeling, although vanilla or quasi-vanilla skills aren't always bad if there are a couple of them; they're build essentials.

Thanks for the (P)review. There is something I don't exactly understand: will there be at least 8 Demigods at release, or exacly 8? I mean, in the first case, what an pre-Phase-1 version displays cannot be representative of the final game, can it?

Well, even 8 would be okay. Encouraging meaningful choices is a good idea, and if there is going to be a permanent leveling system in one of the modes, it is better if the leveling thing is more developed than DotA. More would be too much, though, I agree. 4 would be too little.

Champions wouldn't fit, I think. Champions are servant of a cause or a person. I think that assassin-class Demigods, or at least some of them, do not care about anything but getting personnal power; they're hardly worthy of the title "champion"

A friend of mine wants to preorder and wants to know if he can get the game in another language at release (namely, french). Or will he be stuck with the english version?

Hi future Demigods! So, you think you're up to the incoming challenge, and worthy of siting on the great throne in the skies? Well, you most likely are :). The questions is, though, who will you be? Among the few Demigods that have been disclosed to us, which one are you the most interested in? I mean, of course, we'll play them all, and after we've started playing our tastes will most likely change. But based on the style, artworks, screenshots, and the little we know avbout them, whi

I preordered recently. I mean, I'm not too much into DotA, but it's Stardock and I am willing to bet on their game. I most likely will like it, but if I don't at least I'll have encouraged a PC game dev' team whose methods I appreciate.

I have a couple questions as well: -Will there be a NDA, a non-disclosure agreement? If there will be such a thing, when will it be lifted? -Will the players have control over the units created by the generals, or will it keep a more "DotA" feeling? What about the ones that come from the portal? -Will there be items? -If someone preorders after August 1st, will he still have a chance to enter Phase 1, or will he have to wait until october?
