Does anyone else see a large similiarity between GalCiv and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri? For those who have played it they know what a great game it is, it was one of the reasons I bought GalCivII in hopes it would have the same idea. Perhaps it was an inspiration for GalCiv?

During the game opening sequence (which is very impressive by the way) the video tends to "stall out" while the audio still keeps streaming. Also, it's dificult to watch the tutorials because the little video in each of them is choppy and as is the audio for it (voice). I have decent graphics card and I just updated the driver today.
