No, indeed you shouldn't, Excalpius. One of my XP testing systems is a very old PIII at 500 Mhz with 384 MB of RAM, and although Nexus doesn't beat any speed records on it, it is still perfectly usable. In fact, my Win9x testing system is an even more ancient (ok, decrepit) PII at 300 Mhz with 128 MB of RAM (of course, since layered windows are not supported under Win9x, there is no magnify animation, which kind of helps [e digicons]:grin:[/e] ). HunronJoe, you clicked on the big blue banner that said '50% off', right? I just tried it and it DOES give you the 50% discount (i.e. total price is only $19.95). Give it a try now, it should give you a total of $19.95, NOT $39.90. What I *think* happened is that you had previously visited the normal price purchase page, which put Winstep Xtreme on your shopping cart at the regular $39.90 price. I noticed that the shopping cart 'remembers' previous selections between visits.

Oh, Nexus has a lot of features you won't find on any of the other docks (like the multi-level sub-docks, for instance). And it was the first dock (with Winstep Xtreme) to bring icon reflections to the Windows world (can you notice I am particularly proud of this?). [e digicons]|-)[/e]

Ah, here's a screenshot of the Winstep Nexus dock User Interface. Quite a step forward from the old Winstep Xtreme UI, don't you think? [e digicons]^_^[/e] Anyway, the whole Winstep Xtreme suite should be featuring this UI (and the same level of simplicity) just before the end of the month - I've been activelly working on it even as I prepared the 9.5 version (which is out since the begining of June but still features the old UI) for release. <p

KTEK4D and Brisa weren't made by me. The NeXuS dock themes in KTEK4D were uploaded by me because Tiggz was too busy playing WOW and asked me to do it for him (lazy sod!), while Brisa was kind of 'commissioned' work. :) Atmospherica, Aero and AeroSky I already can take some credit for, although most of it was made with bits and pieces of other themes (with permission, of course). I'm no skinner, no siree. :SNIFF!: I just do some nice 'collages' from time to time, hehe

Starkers is right, except in one minor point, but I'll get to that later. A program like WindowBlinds hooks into the OS in such a complex way (why do you think WB's ONLY competition in all these years have been patched versions of Microsoft's own skinning engine?) that a minor change to Windows can break it, and, as Starkers said, cause BSODs and crashes. The taskbar alone in Windows 7 has gone through major changes, and you can't expect the current WB version to 'magically' work with
