Useless Scout? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Do you guys ever use or even build a scout? I just dont' see any reason to use it, it has less range and sensor than the flagship and I will just use flagship as a scout. And I also found that once you know where the AI at, you can always click on their planet to see how many and what type of ships they have, so this makes the scout even more useless. Any ideas?

Yeah, with this option selected my computer getting really slow between turns, but it diddn't make too much difference to the AI. i might just have this option off

One more question, I can't upload my JPEG image as my account image, everytime when I click the upload button the message says " Upload Successful" but the image is shown as a red cross. I've tried so many times but it seems just didn't work for me, got any idea?

Got 2 game crash: (i) When I was trying to replace the old ship design name with the new design the game crashed (ii) When I was trying to create a fleet the game crashed Anyone got same problem or just me?
