I did enjoy the campaigns my self, they are well written and usually fun (there are some that can get a little hard). The second one campaign is neat because you come from the point of view of the Dengri, but overall they do offer an interesting backstory about how some of the races did come about.

Were in the Bible does it say we cant know about the universe. I have read numerous passages were God invites us to explore his creation. Romans Chapter 1 Verse 20 states that we can see his invisible qualities from creation, that requires understanding the complexity and wonders of what he says put forth into this universe. There for your logic is severly flawed. Please examine all points of argument before making such bold statements. And Yes I have done so and I believe there is a Go
