mmm give stardock your debug thingy cause your game seems bugged. in my last game the drengin declared on me, there militairy was like 10 times as big as me, they were ahead in research, we had about the same ammount of systems cause i just taken over a few from another race. i fought him (and won cause my 1 ally was the strongest in the game and declared war on the drengin to defend me, and by my suprise actually did help me!)
mystic
well i play 1.31 and i still tax them 70-80% yea, its a little bit harder, it requires allot of micromanagment but if you have like 30 planets that doable. also if you play on crippling or above, the 1.3 make your startup harder, not the mid/endgame. from what i have heard, the people that do not like the changes in 1.3 are because they want the "lazy economy". i like to have to th
opinions are divided over what is the best, some say 1.2, some say 1.3 (no one says 1.1 i believe). 1.3 has some great new things, but the people that go for 1.2 do that cause 1.3 made economy allot harder to build. thus making the game harder. i like it, i like 1.3(1) and i don't want to go back, but some did. majorty stayed for 1.3 though. simply cause of 100 new things that were added/fixed/tweaked.
thats not logical at all. the defectors join my side and are killed in combat.
i'm using the automatic survey options every game, and it helps me greatly actually, i don't have it to often that he jumps lightyears away from me. however the trade embargo options is nearly useless to imo
Ok, i am playing 1.31 and i found this bug. i was invading a IA planet and lost, he had like 2b pop left. i invade again the same turn 5 seconds later and i was fighting 5B pop again (not a round number though). this happend to me several times.
i like 1.3, however economy is really hard to get right. all spent my 10 ability points on economics and moral thingy's.
There have been allot of changes in the game, and some of them made other options simply useless, either take them out or make them usefull agian i'd say. * make another civ declare war on one of your oppononts, this is pretty much impossible, they just won't do it anymore. this options is worthless. * buy a ship or mining resourche from the IA, the money they want for it IF they are willing to sell it is so much it will never be earned back. but most of the times they will
Ok i just finished a metaverse game crippling, 9 oppononts, biggest galaxy and around 220 planets to divide. i got just over 40K scores. how do people get 300K scores, i even saw people who were also playing on crippling getting way higher scores than me, how do they do it? i had 2M cash and 1.4 T population.
yea i'd like to see coalitions and coalition wars!!!! 3 vs 3 or 3 vs 1 if needed, for the fun of it. also in the game i am playing, drengin was very strong and declared on me, my ally helped me out, together we beat the drengin. when the drengin was down and had little militairy left, within 10 turns all 6 other races declared war on the drengin to help me out (little late cause drengin was down already)
although i want to chose militairy things, i cannot being able to produce 2x as fast as the IA (or equal when playing on high difficulty) is nice, but your economy has to be up for it. that is usually my weakest point at 1.31, my economy has a hard time starting up so i put all my points into economy/moral stuff, also i have the +20 economics party.
as far as i know this is not a bug you can chose your alligment by 3 ways. * your race that you pick will already be leaning towards one of the 3 alligments * the choices you make will effect if your good or evil * after you researched that tech you can chose and stay either good/evil or neutral. you were evil, so your trade routes were voted away you could have stopped this by researching the tech and become neutral/good.
did you guys have 1.3a? i am playing 1.3a and i do hit allot of anomely's i was also neutral and i did get my free tiles.
strange, i'm still battling my first game and the IA has a nice ammount of factories build on each planet, i'm on crippling and the IA is playing pretty well.
exactly as sxt178 says
well even though stock exchanges give moral bonus, i still need to atleast reseach the moral buildings tech, everytime i research one of them my moral also climbs even without building the new buildings. i really want that bonus to.
During the IA's turn, when MY ships move plz let them move all at once. if your playing a huge map, having 100 planets and all those planets are creating ships and move them to 1 spot, having 50+ ships to move 30 steps every turn is a pain to wait on. plz plz plz can it made so that my ships, just like the IA's ships, move all at the same time and not one by one. plz?
when you play really long games and your not so aggresive, here is an idea for you. build enough farms to have your limit population at around 25B, whenever a planet goes beyond the 20B and moral starts to go down rapidly, put a few B population in your transportship ready to use for an invasion. with this i usually build up a nice army of ships fully loaded with people without hurting my economy.
sounds cool, however 1000+ ships...my processor wouldn't like this either but i never had this. and i do have leaders assasinated.
maybe how other clans like you? i'm not sure and i have no idea how i can up my popularity.
yes there is a 1.3A patch, came out the day after 1.3 came out. its only available at stardock central atm. i believe in journals you can find what was fixed.
well i know that the difficulty that i'm used of playing at is the old crippling, wich is like painfull now. however i'm still having a good game, 4 allies and no enemy's, guess i'm diplomatic. with these new rules you need allot of economic buildings and less factory's and research labs simply cause you can't supply them. i need to totally change my strategy cause the old one simply doesn't work anymore.
on a tiny map i'd buy the ships at turn 1 and colonize i think (i never play tiny maps, only big/huge). also, the ship you have at the start, use that to colonize a good planet and not the one next to you but a bigger one. also, what difficulty your playing, on high levels the IA gets a bonus.
i had a moral resource and the values numbers ran from +5, +4, +4, +4, +4, +4 etc till the end...not +5, +6, +8 etc.
nice reply random 50. for your last part, i'm past the phase were you build up your planets, i have the best factory's there are, second best OR best moral centres, best economic buildings, all planets are 100% build up (a few are still upgrading a few things) and i still can't have enough economie. in the past games when i was at this stage i always had enough economie, specially when i was playing with all the economic stuff from the drath and my 10 points i can spend at the
