I used StealthOS for a long, long time and never had any issues with it. I'd have to say if you're having the same problem with multiple skins from multiple authors, it's on your end. You apparently didn't read my OP; and think if it works on your system, and not on others, then their system is the problem... LOL - all that deserves is.... It AINT a Stardock blind. DOH! And you didnt answer my question...are you on a laptop withan undock button? I am aware it's not Stardocks, that was a typing error. And, yes- there's a undock button. I don't see what that button has to do with anything, unless there are two versions of every skin, one designed for desktops another for laptops.

I am well aware I didn't pay for the Stardock blind, but thanks. As for the font, no specific settings outside what the skin installs. Because I use my computer for business and look at constantly, Arial is my standard, nothing fancy.

I've been wondering about the thoughts and experiences of others regarding paying for individual WB skins. Are you finding aspects of the skins not skinning properly or as expected? And, why is there no download/purchase stats being posted per skin, as there are with all others? Seems even the best skinners struggle with building perfect skins. The one I am using now is named "StealthOS", a great skin, and IMO by one of the best skinners, yet, the start panel text "Turn off Computer"

A great many of the skins by the best designers have the same issue on my two Dell power lap tops - When I hit the "start" menu button, the "Undock - Log Off - and Turn off Computer" text always seems to be missing half to almost all of the "Turn Off Com....", or "Turn Off C... text. It appears I fixed the problem. There's a tools settings dialog box that needed to be unchecked. Don't know how it got checked, but I unchecked it and the box seems to have disappeared. I'll cross my fingers...

Using Stardock Central (2.38.436 - build 139), I click Web browser then wincustomize, and click on Windowblinds or any other category under Gallery, the error dialog box opens, and on every subsequent mouse click. Its so annoying, I've went so far as to uninstall Stardock Central and reinstall, but nothing changed. Provide an email address and I will forward a PrtScn jpg showing the box.

Mine was working fine for a long time on my old xp pro system. But, with my new laptop, windows xp pro 2nd ed doesn't change OUTLOOK's icon. I've attempted multiple icon repairs, even multiple shortcuts, and still Icon Packager won't change OUTLOOK. All other desktop icons change fine. I am aware of changing it manually via properties, and done so. But, it's annoying every time I change icons, forcing me to manually change the OUTLOOK icon. Any solution???

Can somebody explain "why" when I attempt to re-color a set of icons using Icon Developer, it appears to work fine until it complets the process, then abruptly a dialog box says "OUT OF MEMORY", leaving a blank spot in Icon Packager? There's plenty of memory in my system.

I've been experiencing the same issues with the start menu and newer skins such as Ecliz Deluxe... will show the start nmenu once or twice, then all of a sudden it will show nothing or parts. As taken from Windowblinds System Information: Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. Very annoying.

Text size changes in Outlook Personal folders? in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Can any tell my why the text in Outlook 2003's personal folders keep changing size, distoring the text labels? It only appears when I apply Eminence windowblind, and I really like this blind but the text issue is annoying. I have the latest vid drivers and clean system.

Unlike all the accolades above, I won't pay for skins on top of subscribing to OD. Remember, one skin works for "Joe" doesn't work properly on another's system, and tech support for Wincustomize hasn't been much, if at all. Paying premium price for marginal functionality then becomes a rip off. Next comes blog charging for those that paid for stardocks blog application that isn't that user friendly which is why I trashed it after pay
