I want to know how do I build a colony that the governor says that they like living there. A colony that can not only keep the people happy but also give them everything that they need. Also how do I go about building different colonies like ones that specialize in manufactoring, research, etc...? Do I build a project at a time and go by the resources? Any help is appreciated.

First I have never played the first Galactic Civilizations game. What I call a good colony is one where the governor only says good things about the leader, as well as keeping my people happy. Also what does it take to build the different types of worlds like a manufactoring planet, research planet, etc...? The governor would say that you are using the resources of that world to the full.
