we dont need more micromanagement with having to restock the ships. if it did it automatically, depending on fleet composition and supply lines, it would be interesting. but that would change the game alot. if you wanted to have a missle that would pierce the armor of the enemy and release deadly chemicals or nanobots, or something of that nature, makes a bit more sense. it would make having defensive techs a little more important

i would love some stealth tech for ships, and even starbases. it would be impossible to render a planet fully untracable, because the planets gravity would affect the wobble of the star in the system. and i loved fight against Darloks, why not some cloaked Drengin?

good and evil are just labels people use. whether for a purpose or out of ignorance. Altarians are really shifty in some of my games, and the dregin at least let you know where you stand with them. but what side gets what label? depends on the eye of the beholder

imagine landing the troop transport, and shooting your lasers through the windows. you did remember to build windows on your spacecraft didnt you? you lose the transport due to the fact that spaceships cant fly with open windows

the units is in millions. so 2000 units would be 2 billion people. as for the transports dissappearing, you could explain it as the troops using the ship materials for construction of peacekeeping buildings or something of the like. If you win the invasion. if you failed the invasion, of course the survivng defenders are going to knock them down. if its really that much of a bother for you to build them, make cheaper transports

it makes sense for some parts to require more space, like engines. the same amount of power that would make a small hull go 4 moves wouldnt have the strength to push a bigger hull that fast. weapon and sensor techs, however, have no explaination that i am aware of

I thought the ship it'self had to have at least 1 point worth of whatever was being assisted for this to work? (i.e. starbase assisted missiles require at least 1 missile on the ship, starbase shield assist requires at least 1 point of shield on the ship), no? no, as long as they have 1 of any offensive skill to get all offensive bonuses. same
