I just did a rundown of what they had in the trade screen, here it is: 78 Freighters(move than I even thought), 1 survey ship, 19 colony ships, 17 defenders, 1 fighter, 6 scout ships, 3 troop transports, 1 economy starbase, 1 influence starbase, 5 military starbases, and 5 mining starbases. I am really at a loss for words. Btw, there are actually a lot more freighters around my planets than you can see, pulled back all the way some are

Crazy, huh? I'd be annoyed if it wasn't so funny. Sad thing is that game started off great too. The way the galaxy was setup, etc. but think I'm gonna have to scrap it. Seeing as how I'm teamed with the Altarians I don't think I can do much about it. Then again we are at war, see the Drengin ships moving in? Maybe they'll take care of the problem. P.S. How do I post the debug?

I made a scenario and have been trying it out for a bit. Seemed to be good till I saw something. Playing with 4, teams of two. My team mate, the Altarian's seem to keep making more and more freighters. It's got to the point where it is nothing less than insane. Really? It's listed as a % too so I was wondering. I tried the 3 bonus but didn't really notice a differance. Thanks.

I think I got it . I am getting the extra speed or routes now. Don't really know why it wasn't working before but it now. Could have messed up something in the xml file, I suppose. The trade routes really threw me with the % value though. With +3 extra routes when I get trade I end up having 4 opens, with +1 I end up having 2. But I'm still a little confused. In the research window it says you get +3 trade routes with the tech so with a +3 bonus to boot woudln't you end up with 6 opens?

It seems like something is wrong with it then. It's listed as 1, 2, and 3. So you wouldn't get anything. If you had 10 for example 10 + 3% is still 10. I really don't get it. Seem like what was ment to happen is you get either 1, 2, or 3 more routes by picking them but that's not how it works. It ends up being a % that does nothing. The bouns is listed in the file as a % too so it's confusing. On the other hand the speed bonus doesn't seem to w

I've never tried to use the ability bonus "Trade Routes" till now, after looking at the xml file a bit and playing with it. The bonus doesn't seem to do anything though. How does it work? Isn't it suppose to give you more trade routes? If not what does it do? If it is suppose to give you more routes I don't get how it works since the bonus is listed as a % and not a number.

Yeah, I emailed the files. It's not too big a deal I guess but just putting it out since something doesn't seem right. Maybe whatever caused it was fixed in 1.1 and the whole issue is moot, who knows. I'll probably just have to delete the ships and start over. Back to it.

1.1 Beta? The version of the game I'm using is v1.0X.2. Got it at the store and downloaded Galactic Civilizations II Bonus Pack a few days after. Not really sure what the problem is or what to do about it. I also made a ship 'Heavy Transport' for high end conquest but it doesn't show up till a long time after I get the tech.

I might have upgraded from the better one, can't really remember. I sent the files asked for. Just noticed something really wierd though, there are 3 .shipcfg files for the mk II. I didn't see that before. I have no idea how to go about fixing this though.

Well, this was in the dread lords campaign. I really don't know what I'm doing but I deleted all the campaign saves and everything under user made ships are gone now so I guess it's ok now.

I got the game from the store a couple days ago and have been playing it a bit. Just got the update that made it 1.0X.2 and ran into something annoying. I was creating ships before I updated but it seemed bugged (why I updated), things weren't showing up after I saved and it was acting wierd. A lot of the designs were just made as New Design.
