The only way to destroy the pirates is by war. It would be nice if you could pay them money to attack your rival civ. They even do it without payment. They will take out any ship, yours and AI's. The only ships they won't attack are minor races. They also will not invade. Once they have killed every ship they won't move much anymore It's an ea
When I'm hitting the "speak to" button in the foreign policy screen, I can talk in the trade screen with the Dread Lords. However when I scroll through the available races in the trade screen, the Dread Lords never come up again.
i got a buffer overrun when i quit the game Me too, however SmartException didn't pick it up
Are you sure it isn't just running in a desktop-sized window? In such a case, the game will look identical to fullscreen. I use the same setting in GalCiv2, there it works just fine. I haven't a clue how to see whether it's a full screen or a desktop-sized window, for me the result is the same. edit. I changed resolution. Now t
Full screen toggle doesn't work. I can't play in a window. Why are GalCiv2 preferences used for DA?
How can you get such a "showpiece" on a ship. Does the AI react on this? It looks like a gun, so it is a gun. Or are just the numbers important
Ok, You should see it now

This core ship carries more waepons as is should have. I'm not sure if this was in previous versions because I normally don't use the core ships. I use v1.3 Beta 3x Where did that stinger come from?
i like the program, it makes life a lot easier. Would it be possible to make something so that you can delete your own designed ships? And is there a way to make clear with which miniturization level they are build. But overall Good Program
It's not the needed time to build, you see the numbers also in the shipdesigner. It has something to do with the number of ships in previous games, but i'm not sure. In 1.1 it gave the current number of ships (after a couple of turns)
Since I'm getting demands to (re)move starbases from other races when they are to close to their planets, I want to be able to make that demand too.
I installed version 1.1 but starports and some wonders are still indestructible.
When I conquer a planet, the starport is the only thing that's never destroyed. This started to happen in v1.1 BETA 4B.
Somehow the tiles starport and habitat improvement get mixed up on planets which are either conquered or rebelled and joined my empire. You cannot build ships on those planets. Saving the game and reloading helps but after a while the problem returns. In the main screen it happens on conquered planets that you cannot change the build queue of ships. You have to go to the planetscreen and change the queue there.
Sometimes the build ship button is greyed out. This happens with an invaded planet. The button for other planets are functioning. When I reload the problem is gone. When I played my first game I had some points left (3 points) for some civilizations abilities. I chose some extra abilities so that there where zero points left. In all the later games the total points where negative (-3) in the race-abilities tab. But as long as I don't change anything, there is no objection. When I remove an abalitie so that the total points gets less negative the game refuses to go further because you can't have a negative to
In shipdesigner you can't delete added extra components, they don't show up in the list. Which is located at the top of the designer window Keyboard shortcut for auto attack doesn't work anymore.
