I gave this site a show, they allowed me to play for free. There is a special option that 500 people get to play free so they can form a community. While the attempts at these games are great, the user interface and the way games are set are terrible. You can see who is in the games. You have to have multiple windows open. I had to quit on the site. The community was getting there, but the interface got to me.
Hillary Clinton, thats who.If she wins, the game industry is screwed, as well as America.
I'm sure the game industry is her first priority. If anyone would vote against someone just because of the game industry, I think its the voters that would be screwing America.

The three words that relieve all stress for computer and console games... It's a game... don't take things personally, its not like other people are going to be knocking on your door tomorrow. Looks like you need a break anyways.

I use to play CoH all the time and LOVED it. The think you must realize about Relic is that they will take the time for multiplayer reasons before single player. Their games thrive on the multiplayer aspect. While I love single player games such as GalCiv2 and Sins, CoH definitely is improved over the multiplayer experience.

Played Everquest for two years. Thank god that was in high school, cause I would have dropped out of college if I started playing it in college. I was ADDICTED. So I won't play these games anymore. Now I play games such as GalCiv2 which I can just stop and do more important stuff and come back at another time. When you pay to play something monthly, your mindset kicks in saying that you should at least make it worth your money.

I loved Starcraft personally. I've played most big time RTS games, such as Company of Heroes to Warlords Battlecry. I get a kick of listening in on this forum because every here is a TB maniac :) Put some better graphics on it and BAM! its better then 85% of RTS's out there. If it had pretty graphics most of your would be saying how great it is compared to how old it is. Its the gameplay itself that makes the game. Graphics is just a plus.

Like pndrev said, you cannot compare these games. There is just too many differences. Not to be rude, but I am failing to understand why you want a comparison for two games you have never played.

I'm guessing that if this is bought at retail, it will be the same as Gal Civ2, in that you will be able to register it and therefor download it from SDC in the future?

Used a lot of unneeded words Uranium. Your comments would be more pleasing, as well as appropriate if you just got rid of the "the #$%@" in your sentences. They will also still make sense! Go figure...

Pretty sure there is a UP proposition that gives transports weapons to defend themselves when passed. I'd imagine thats why your transport has the firepower.

I find that you get some time to focus on your military before the AI even tries to proceed in researching the colonization techs. Just gotta time it right so that you get it before them. As for my games, I don't really care much about the planets until I go to war. Then I look at the uninhabitable planets my enemy has, and if worth pursuing, I might research or trade for the techs.
And maybe to go one step further, have you ever wondered how a game would unfold after you lost, who would win? Maybe there could be an option to let the computer simulate the game until some AI wins. It would also come handy in situations where you already know you've won but don't feel like spending the next couple of hours cleaning things up.
All techs should be able to be traded or stole, however, those that are deamed too one sided should have limited capabilities, like for instance if Building (A) gave the Torians 30% morale boost than maybe for the Terrans it would only give a 10% morale boost, (or maybe effect certain races differently such as 10% morale bonus +5% tourist bonus')Then maybe the Dregin 2% morale bonus and so on. On the same note then the Dregin Building (B) would boost Dregin great but

These research laboratories are already set in the game as economic star bases. Plus, I don't want to micromanage all these ships with labs on them. I would be for the idea of the asteroid belts giving an option of production or research, which I believe this is what they intended, but changed it to only production.

I disagree with AOE3 being close to evolutionary. The home city is alright, but for me it did not make the game any more fun, or either any of the implemented improvements in the game. Games such as Dawn of War and Company of Heroes I would have to say would could be considered an evolutionary step to RTS, because they absolutely bring in a new dimension of the game with squad combat, the need to play the WHOLE map instead of certain parts, and cover.
