I agree 100% It would be better if your choices directly affected your alignement.

I have just experienced a serious bug: I had just conquered a minor race's planet (it was my first invasion in the game) when i realised that the whole map was covered in my race's colour! I controlled 100% of the galaxy, i had an aproval of 1% and my recently conquered planet was left with 22 billion people (and an aproval of 100%) even though i had 700k soldiers left when i invaded. After 1 turn the overall aproval returned to normal (71%) but everything else stayed the same until i won

anyone knows?

I hope that the UP, espionage and diplomacy will be further expanded in future updates/expansions

It's been over two weeks since i ordered the game directly from Stardock and still no signs of it. Is this normaI? I know that the temp serial expires within a month and i'm starting to worry that it won't arrive in time. Maybe i'm just irrational but i don't trust regular mail that much. Is there something that i can to find out why it is taking so long? What if the game never arrives? I live in Europe btw.

I haven't experienced anything similar with other games. I too have a 6600GT , no dual monitor and no custom mouse. The problem seems to go away if i switch to the hardware mouse but it doesn't look good in the game!

I'm quite annoyed with this bug. The cursor keeps freezing almost every time i play and it forces me to restart my PC! At first it was pretty rare but with the latest patch it's becoming more and more common. Is it a known bug or have i something to do with it? Help! EDIT: I just found a similar thread, so just ignore this :)

A. I stopped playing Civ4 long before GC2 came out. I just wasn't hooked as i was with CIV3. Now i'm hoping that in the future CIV will be greatly improved so that i can play both.

I really thing that we should have the ability to create a ship when we aren't in a game. Would it be too difficult to add an additional mode in the main menu to this purpose?

It's been almost 2 weeks since i pre-ordered. I'm worried that it won't arrive before my serial expires. Why is it taking so long? I hate mail!

I don't know if you guys heard but we finally did it! CivFanatics has created a whole sub-forum dedicated to GalCiv2! http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7 Yay!!!

But first the GalCiv2 forum needs a major overhaul IMO. It's not as well organised as CivFanatics. I hope this will change soon.

Now we are trying to convince the mods at CivFanatics to create a sub-forum for GalCiv2! The game really deserves to be all over the place! You guys did (and are doing) a fanatstic job!

A deeper diplomacy and espionage level could bring the game to a whole new level of enjoyment!

I think that a dev had said that if they brought the terror star back it would still have the ability to destroy stars. I'm not ot sure though

I'm inclined to agree with your assesement of those races. I'm pretty new too so i don't have much experience of my own but so far this has been the case with those races. What about other races?

Apart from improving diplomatic options and espionage, adding a hall of fame and bringing back the terror star are mt biggest requests. Many other things can also be improved. Just say what's on yoúr mind!

The game has been increadible so far and i'm really enjoying it! But i would like to make a few suggestions for future updates/expansions and i want to hear opinions. Here they go: 1) A hall of fame, much like in CIV, would be very much appreciated. I'm not sure how the Metaverse works but it certainly isn't the same. 2) It would be nice if we could somehow exploit planets that cannot be colonised in different ways. We could send sattelites in orbit of those planets to coll
