I'd like to see the teams feature be improved, so that you can set up two or more permanent teams. You can have the player's team, and then any number of ai teams, and the player can put in however many ai races he wants into his team, as well as the other teams. Perhaps even set it so that all the races in each team are close or allied to all the other races in their team, and perhaps even have an option to have all races in a team permanently allied and where no race can attack ano

I voted against, not because I'm against mulitplayer, but because $20 seemed a bit much for nothing more than just a multiplayer mode. If there was a decent amount more added to GC2 than just multiplayer, than I would've voted yes. Or if the envisioned price was $9.95 I would've voted yes. If the envisioned price was $14.95, I'd consider it, but would need some time to think it over. I'd possibly vote yes.

What seems like the most popular way for putting out expansion packs these days is to first do it the traditional way and put out the expansion pack by itself. Then around 4 months later put out a Gold Edition, which includes the original game, patched to it's latest version, the expansion pack, also patched to it's latest version, and a pdf manual that explains both the original game and it's expansion, and which is updated to explain all the changes

Yesterday, I was spending the day in our state capitol, Lincoln, and stopped by both Super Walmart and Best Buy. Neither of them had Galactic Civilizations 2 in stock yet. On my way home, I stopped by the Super Walmart in York (a city of 9,000) and that walmart hasn't had Galactic Civilizations in stock yet either. So I decided to order from the online wholesaler www.gogamer.com, that says they are going to stock the game, and they either don't have it in stock yet or are back-order
