kind of looks like a train.

Your link Fued brought painful memories of the Super Bowl back. Memories that I was trying to surpress.
Ya, I use the click and drag method. I was frustrated with the diagnol scrolling at first also, but now I never scroll.
Im getting a (12) serial # does not match metaverse serial #. Also I log in the metaverse, but it will not let me create new characters. Just seems to refresh the page. I don't know how to fix the metaverse problem I updated my game using the ugrade button on the launch interface thing about 3 days ago using the serial on the case.
I disagree about the moral penalty. I hated it in civ3, and I feel like I wouldn't like it in this game either. I know this game is fantasy, but it doesn't make sense. In real life it doesn't happen this way and I don't see how it would change in the future. Being away from your capital (homeworld) does not make things more corrupt, is Alaska or Hawaii more corrupt then Washington DC?
I would like the option of B for the Hotseat also, but it depends on what we would lose because of it. If they spend there time on making it multiplayer then we are losing something else because they only have so much resources so therefore I can't give a direct answer. Online, I don't know if that is worth the effort. It would take forever to finish a game, and a lot of people would quit if they felt they were going to lose. Not many people want to spend hours when they knew there cause was los
I had a problem with it working at first also, found it easier to cut and past then try to type it into the box. Maybe that will help someone with problems or just past this into the the target "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GC2Launch.exe" cheat
I believe there is something inbetween normal and int. that makes the computer dumber and doesn't handicap the economy.
Damn no more space villages
No carriers in the game, but maybe someday. I hear a lot of people that talk about it.
I like the infuence borders. It would be kind of weird to have real borders in space because it is so huge, and it seems weird to actually claim a sections of space. Atleast that is how I feel about it.
Ok maybe it shouldn't be nurfed. But the AI should be adjust to counter them more effectively. I usually play on the biggest map and have about ten of these by the time were almost halfway done with the tech tree (set to slow). and there just so powerful. Mine usually have a radius of 15 and have well over 20 movement points. lets just say I can see anything I want in a couple of turns, and if I'm at war I see everything that the enemy is doing. Everything.
I believe they are way to powerful. It's like having the ability to see everything on the map becuase if you use them right they are impossible to destroy, that said it makes the game a lot easier, because you know the tactics of the enemy, which gives the player a huge advantage. So it should be nerfed somehow. But don't do it so much that it would not be worth using.
another thing I want to add is that the way the computer judges another military power is innacurate, I don't know the best way to improve it, but I feel that the ai should also consider military tech. level. Did I mention this was an awsome game?
I believe calling the AI sucks is a little to harsh, especially compared to some other games that have been out for a while. The AI has some good starting points. I have noticed that it does adapt to weapons decently on Int., and it expands throughout the galaxy in the beginning of the game effectively. Could be improved on utilizing planets, but not that bad. Here is a list that I feel the AI could improve. 1. Scouting. In the biggining of the game the Ai scouts planets in a effective way.
Everyone except the Terrans know were the plantes are they just don't know how good they are. And even if you don't have the planets on the mini map shown. You can make an educated guess were they are.
