i think McKean's Law was actually what i was thinking of. or should i say, of what i was thinking. to be fair, some of us actually are dyslexic. that's why i usually refrain from correcting others' speech, but in the case that actually started this (my part of it anyway), i just couldn't resist pointing out that the self-proclaimed grammar sherrif had in fact corrected spelling.
okay. i thought that might be the case, but i googled it and didn't get anything, but i didn't look increadibly hard.
Mruphy's Law:
i assume you mean Murphy's Law [e digicons]^_^[/e] and actually, murphy's law is "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong."
heh, that was pretty good. i recall once reading about... someone's law. i forgot the name. it was a social law that essentially follows: if you correct someone's language on the internet, you're exceedingly likely to make a spelling, grammar or other language error in that very correction. for the life of me i can't remember the proper name attached to this social law.
i'm sure it'll be reshown several times, and you can always catch it on sci fi rewind. but personally speaking, i'd have to put BSG ahead of friendship in this case [e digicons]o_O[/e]
so... 10 hours to go, my time. i've been seeing ads for BSG all over the f***ing place. i'm re-watching from season 3 onward until then. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
thanks kryo [e digicons]^_^'[/e] i've done that in the past; i guess i wasn't thinking. i'll be sure to always do that in the future.
damn it. i don't know if i made a linguistic spelling, grammar or diction error in that post, but i sure as heck committed a mistake with computational syntax, and i can't seem to find an edit button. yet again, stardock's unruly forum design strikes again. why does it copy over, and then hide, code from other websites? i can't even edit or delete that post... if it's annoying enough, i'll ask kryo if he can simply delete it. at any rate, my main point (if you can't tell through the u

heh. you and mumble are cut from the same cloth [e digicons];)[/e] personally speaking, i know how to spend money intelligently, but i chose not to. at least, not all the time. the amount i can save by pinching pennies doesn't add up to much over the short time frames i'm dealing with, and the sense of enjoyment i can get from spending a little frivolously really helps my day-to-day life be much more tolerable. but i guess my only real point is that it's a subjectiv
