I have version 1.X already - and the version of my Ati drivers is the same as on this computer (4.12). I'll try updating them though and see if that works - anyway - here's the debug info for the current version: Debug Message: Version v1.0X.1 last updated on: Mon Mar 6 13:57:14 2006 Debug Message: Could not find a TGN Serial No. Debug Message: *********DXDiag info follows.********* System Info Time: 3/17/2006,

The thing is - if the software industry was REALLY serious about stopping piracy - they'd set up a standard national (or even international) software licensing system... One of the main problems with computer software is that it's kinda half-way house between flat copyright protection, (like music cd's or consoles - which dosen't really work so well anyway) - and a 'proper' licensing system instead of the joke EULA's we have atm. The upside
I thought I'd have some fun and install this on my DAW - (since I have a 2nd windows partition for stuff like this) - mainly since I have a large 21" monitor on it - and I wanted to see what it was like on it - (since the Stardock guys keep on going on about Object Desktop etc. ) - but I ran into some problems.... I have a (passively
Wish I could work there too - but then I'm a poor unemployed musician/composer - (Still need some software/instruments before I can start writing some more commerciallly viable music). (I mainly write celtic style music - but it dosen't sound right with orchestral instruments/synths instead :-/ ). Still - I'm working on a computer based RPG system (and have been for almost 5 years now) - (working it out for an MMORPG atm (maxing it out as it were) - though it's easily scalable/modula
Well - my first peice of music is up on the galactic core site now - (they even created a new category just for me ). So see what you think Darren Tomlyn Composer/Tune-writer & Fiddle-player www.soundlift.com/DarrenTomlyn
The problem with people, as a whole, is that so few of them have the ability to look at ANYTHING in an objective manner, rather than subjectively - with the 4th camp being the very worst... I guess I'm lucky enough to be able to look at things objectively - so I'm able to look at the quality of a product whether I like it or otherwise - for instance I don't like World Of Warcraft - (since it's waay too shallow for my taste in RPG's) - but I can look a
hmm - dunno why this got posted so much - anyway - sry for the dupes - I kept getting error messages when I tried to post... oh well - if the mods could delete all the posts apart form teh original in the modding forum??
I'm not usually too good at that sort of thing - (though the editor for the first galciv was ok)... (And I've tried to post this tot eh modding forum - but keeps on saying the requested item did not exist???) However, the one thing I am 'good' at, is writing music... (Since I'm a composer). However, orchestral music, (apart from a couple of peices) isn't really the sort of thing I normally write - however, for this game, I've mad

However, orchestral music, (apart from a couple of peices) isn't really the sort of thing I normally write - however, for this game, I've made an exception, and so I've rearranged one of my peices for strings/harp/flute and french horns, to try and make it fit
I'm not sure if this is the exact place to post - but I've literally just bought the game (Collectors Edition) from GAME, in Loughborough, Leics, UK, and it won't let me update it, either from the site here OR through Stardock Central - Stardock Central seems to think that the serial number is invalid? I checked it numerous times and know that what I'm putting in is exactly whats on the back of the manual...<img src="smiles/Mad.gif" border=0 ALIGN="abs
