Can't really add more than what Astyanax0 wrote. Macs are just as unsecure as any other OS, but people don't waste their time to create an exploit that affects about 6% of computer users, they go after the big boy which as we all know is Windows
Aquamonkey
Could anyone help me with some icons for Swish applications to be used in a flyout dock menu? I need; General icon for the dock, Swish Jukebox, Swish Max, Swish Pix, Swish Presenter, Swish Studio, Swish Presenter TIA
I love using IconX to have really big icons on my desktop, but will their ever be new features added to it? I use object dock so therefore don't have a lot of icons, I keep the system icons (docs, computer, network, bin) at the default upper left set at 128. I'd like to have icons to my most used apps run along the bottom of the screen from the right corner set at 48 or 64. Also it would be good if an external image could be set for both the empty and full recycle bin so I don't have to keep mod
Hang on a sec, wasn't numnuts Jobs saying a week or so ago that he and the other inmates at (cr)apple wouldn't program for Windows if that had any choice??? I don't like the look of this POC I expect my apps to use the same (or very similar) interface as the OS.
I'd really like to know the numbers on how many people actually went out and purchased Vista (take away OEM and free updates from recent hardware purchases), it would be great to know what people were upgrading from as well. If you compare sales given the amount of PC's in use today compared to when XP was released I think XP would have been a stronger seller. I'm sticking with XP MCE, given it has media center and remote desktop I'd need to shell out for Vista Ultimate to get the same
Office 2007 is great! I only wish MS did as good a job with Vista
I guess they have to put priorities to where the revenue comes from, and that sure as **** ain't the computers!!!
Dreams, oh boy I have been waiting for thissss forever to come! It's the only interesting thing I've seen in Vista, but really not worth the pricetag considering you need ultimate!
Interesting read, I have to ask since I have no interest what so ever in going Vista anytime soon should I bother renewing my object desktop subscription next time it's up or is everything new comming out going to be Vista only?
if you have XP I just don't see why you'd shell out for Vista. MS can't blame piracy they been tooting the trumpet since release about how dificult it is to keep a pirated copy activated and running
The trigger should have been pulled on clippy long ago!
If I were going to fork over the buckaziods for Vista (which at this time I'm not) I'd atleast want a DVD for it. Lets face it your going to be installing it on more than one occassion in it's lifetime! Since the retailer is cut out of the equation does this lower the price of the software i.e. the retaillers "share" of the price?
Apple cleared the boss AND senior management of wrong doing.......... In other breaking news sh1t stinks
I guess someone should tell Microsoft not to bother with Windows Vienna. Which is a pitty since it would have had all of the features that got cut from Vista!!!
With less piracy Microsoft won't have as many people "using" their 5 years in the making full feature(less) OS. Shooting themselves in the foot sort of!
I'll stick with my Creative Zen Vision M, it STILL has better video playback then the NEW ipod. As for the Zune it looks ugly and I don't think it will lure "Joe music" who just goes and buy an ipod because that's what everyone else has!
Sir starkers sums up part of the reason(ie problem) in why iPods are everywhere, also average Joe says "I want something to listen to music on, everyone else seems to have an iPod so they must be the best thing to get" when they go into a store they practically have blinders on as far as other brands go
Well while everyone @ Apple is busy polishing their halo iPod, hazardous dummy win Shonky Awards The Apple iPod, and a dummy that is a choking hazard, are among this year's winners of the consumer watchdog's inaugural Shonky Awards... The Apple iPod has received an award because Choice says
Is the NIS you tried a pre release, I can't believe they'd release their 2007 range and not be Vista compatible
This build has the fixed maximised borders Normal windows still have a cyan shadow on them grrrrr
That is one ugly baby! I'll stick with my 30G Zen Vision:M, it does everything I need
Office 2007 Beta 2, which originally came out in late May, was packed with bugs and usability issues Are you kidding me!?!? I think Outlook has crashed twice the whole time I've been running it! <TD clas
The Beta 2 worked great on my computer. Ahhh so you're the one Really great infact.</
was responsible for cleaning up the mess that was the Windows 2000 development process Where did he sit on the dogs breakfast currently known as Vista though????
Microsoft just get the damn thing out and start work on something worthwhile!!!
