I have tried uploading twice now and I follow the instruction and at stage two when I hit submit the upload monitor with the guage does not appear as it used to and it just appears to load via the window status bar. It does not proceed to the window which used to say the upload had been successful nor have I had a notification to say it has been okayed. xscorpx......I agree with you entirely. On one occassion the mod replied to me the work was not good enough in his eyes. All the images had been uploaded on Skinbase at one point and ALL had recieved favourable download figures. I even sent a zip file of the images to Nikos(adni18) as he could not understand why my work was rejected. He saw the images as being of acceptable quality. I have submitted images here that have been featured works and they too have been rejected. I am happy for anyone

I have been coming in and out of Wincustomize for nearly six years. During that time I have seen the quality drop here plus the variation. There is a manner in the uploading process that deters wallpaper artists from uploading here. That is the fickle and unprofessional manner with which wallpapers are selected for upload by mods here. Hi Zoomba.....I have had a similar problem...two of my images that were accepted,Midnight and Hellfire do not show up in my gallery nor have they appeared on the wallpaper main page. When Crushed was accepted it started its life on the second page. If I click the links in the email sent I see them but as to where they actually are is anyones guess. Fan Art to me is just an excuse or a convenient rationalization for wrong doing. Look at it this way. I may be a fan of Ford Mustang cars. I see one on the street and think to myself, I like that so I will take it and use it. Quite rightfully , later on , I get arrested for car theft. In court I state in my defense that under fair use and as a fan of Ford Mustangs I took the vehicle so therefore I have done no wrong! Fan art or not ,there is still an obligatoion to abide by copyright and the intellectual property rights of others. You cannot take someone elses art and call it your own and use it to advance your own position. I draw your attention to Apocalypse who produced a complete suite for Spiderman using his own original art and thereby honoured the copyright laws. He did not use any Spiderman registered art. Theft is theft and cannot be justified.
I find it slightly amusing that Alperium should protest about rips when he posts Spiderman images which are protected by copyright which can clearly be seen on the Spiderman site. He gives no credit to Marvel or Columbia pictures nor does he supply permission. How is this permissable?
