Actually, I'm Canadian, so won't be voting in your elections. From portions I've read of the Libertarian platform, I definitely find it interesting and worth a look. I personally voted for a fringe party (the first time in my 45 years) this year when I voted Green. Definitely time to look at alternatives, not just the same tired old parties. JW

It is very interesting to see, as a Canadian, American's attitude towards government. While we tend to trust our government, numerous surveys I've read of, show that Americans are generally suspicious of it (we find it hard to really be suspicious of something we have control over, ultimately). Add to the fact that people view cities and municipalities as more trustworthy, then it's sort of understandable that people would want to take power
