Rounding error

30 industry & 40% racial bonus = 30 x 1.4 = 42 (which, as we all know, is the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything).

I think I figured out why they could never find the question to that...

I'm getting 41.









Tried doubling the industry output to no avail-now I'm showing 83 on a 60 x 1.4.

Also shows up in TA 0.96b.

There are plenty of values it works fine for, but it appears that when it has a resultant value of X.00, it considers it to be the same as (X-1).99, and therefore rounds it down.

Though, obviously, I haven't tested every conceivable value.

I'm not normally one to bump things, but I'm a little surprised no one has said anything. Should this maybe be in Beta Reports? Or is it just that no one's concerned over losing one resource/industry point (possibly one of each, due to rounding/funding)?
