If you started the game as a metaverse game then there should be no issue with submitting it. The crashes shouldn't matter and saves and exits certainly don't matter. If you've updated the game while in the middle of a game then this could be the problem. Also sometimes the submission just doesn't take for no apparent reason. If you reload the endgame.sav file and hit end turn while connected to the net then it should take you through the submission process again. On occasion I've had to do this a couple of times before the game was accepted. Good luck.
