Okay, so don't actually use this bug purposely, or you're lame. Also, if this has been fixed, sorry, but I searched through the changelogs and did not find it.
Whenever you save and then load a Custom Race, it's logistics magically goes up by +4%, it's Military production magically increases by +20%, and it's Social production raises +10%. As it stands, it's not possible to save a custom race and not get these bonuses one time.
Not horrible, considering custom races only recieve +4% logistics anyway. Again, if this is already fixed, sorry. I did try to find it mentioned first.
[Edit: Okay, it seems like I get defense too, sometimes. I created another new race, and upon saving and loading it the first time I received a +20 Military, +10 Defense, +4 Logistics, for a total of -3 ability points to spend. At least the Defense and Military bonuses I can get rid of.]
[Update: Interesting! It seems the extra +10 Defense and +20 Military bonuses can't go away, even if you remove them! Once you get into the game, it gives them back.]
