Ship list, clicking on ship no longer centers the ship on the main display

The new ship list looks nice, and it is nice to have so many ships viewable at a time, but I think I need a primer before I will quite understand it.

Also, what happened to centering ths selected ship when clicking it in the list.

OK. I found it. Now you have to double click a ship in the ship list to get it centered on the main window.

I think the second line of an entry in the ship list needs work. Everything I have done fails to shed any light on what all of the numbers represent. It is obvious that some of them are supposed to show current/max HP, total moves/moves left, and so on, but there are not enough number groups to match the sort orders that are available to the list and use of the sorts has shed little if any light on it. I think this needs to be quite a bit more intuitive, or it needs a help function that describes the content (right click on the second line of an entry -> something like "Lvl: x n n/n n/n sec: n-n lists the level of experience, the experience points, the hit points - curren/max, ....").

I agree that that 2nd line is confusing. The two most important pieces of information for me is whether or not a ship is in Orbit, and how many moves are left. I can't figure that out at the moment from the ship list. :/
Something else that I noticed.. If the computer is waiting for you to move a particular ship, but you go to the ship list and double click on a different unit, it will show you that unit briefly, and then switch you back to the unit the computer wants you to move. Is this normal? It's not the way it worked before, and I'd rather it didn't do it... or am I just missing something?

eSnaffu,

I have been able to discern the indicators for "in orbit" (a shield) and "on autopilot" (the strange looking arrow).

May I ask you about that second problem of only seeing a ship momentarily when you click on it? I have been seeing a problem with the ships on autopilot not completing their moves (reported by someone else earlier). The behavior is rather strange. When the autopilot segment of the code completes its list it switches the screen to display a ship that is on autopilot that has not completed all of its turns and will return the screen to that ship if you move the screen in any way that puts that ship off screen. Conceivably this might include clicking on another ship in the ship list (I think I even tried that once). Could this be what you are seeing?
