Building Ships

Please explain

I havve desugned ships that show up in future games but never become available even when the tech is attained.

Surely it will not be necessary to re-design ships for every game.

I would like to have the ability to design all ship classes without the tech and then get the ability to build when the tech is available. Will this be possible?

I don't think so.

But, once the Battle of the Gods scenario is sorted it will be possible to start a gme with all techs researched so you could create your designs in that game and use them in your normal games.

It is intended that your custom designs will become availiable to you as each gme progresses, thought occurs though, if you play as different race you will probably have to redesign the ships due to the different hull designs.

This means that ships he has designed show up, but are unable to be built even when the tech is attained. True? This is different than designing ships before a tech becomes available. And if it is the case, why would they show up, but not be able to be built?

Yes derekroth, that is the problem. Either I have done something wrong or there are still some bugs in ship design.

It remembers me a problem I have posted in the bug thread. Are you playing the same race or a custom one? Are you playing a normal game or a metaverse game? Are you sure you have all the required techs and abilities (miniaturization level essentially)?
