GC2 Locks up Lap Top

Dell will not run after 20 turns or so.

Here are the system specs: (I can not get a smart exception report as I have to power down the laptop to be able to do anything.) Can happen pretty much at any time. I have reloaded and deleted everything numerous times. I have, I believe, the most up ot date drivers available for this system.

Anybody with any recommendations as to what maybe causing it? I can not get to the task manager to see if memory is maxed. I will email the debug.err report in.

Is that all that was in your debug file? The DXDiag info should be followed by a line
"Debug Message: *********END dxdiag info.********* "
DXDiag is part of the OS, not GC2.

Did you even get the first setup screen? Why do the specs say the monitor has a max resolution of 640*480? GC2 requires 1024*768 minimum.

After resolving the above, Try --
--- Use GCConfig (in folder gc2\gcconfig) to start gc2 - set windowed mode and select a screen size. Use a size that still gives you access to the desktop tool bar.

Agreed, I have the screen set to 1280 and have been using GC2 config in 1024 mode. There was a log (and alot) more data in the debug file that I mailed in. I will say this, my desktop hasn't had a problem all weekend. The above system though is what I travel with and trust me I travel alot so I am hoping for some more suggestions.

Thanks though Lucky Jack. Trust me I will keep plugging.

I cant find anything on GCConfig, I was wanting to set my resolution for double monitors, and I keep seeing references to some sort of utility called "GCCONFIG" yet it doesnt seem to be anywhere in my gc2 directory. Where can I find this and how can i activate it?
